I never play online, isn't there any way to stop the game from trying to connect all the time? I always have to sit there while it tries connecting.

Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.
In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.
We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

Weird...I dont see that option anywhere.
It's there for sure as I already did that... If I recall right it's in the online options where you get to choose like the default strings for the chat and such... I may be wrong though.
It doesn't completely solve the problem though: mine still checks the connection even if I set the autologin to disabled, it's just a little quicker (using Steam here, I'm not sure if the platform you're on makes any difference though).
