help needed! pes 2016 ps3

Hi. ive finally come across this forum after many attempts at looking for some sort of update patch for pes 2016.
We just got the game for ps3 and i noticed a video on youtube showing a new 2020 patch that updates all clubs and signings etc.
the websites they directed me to all seem to be full of viruses. do these patches even exist or was all them videos just clickbait to get people to these horrid webpages?
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Not sure if you will find any new updates for PES2016. All I was able to find was this option file but a few years old.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Not sure if you will find any new updates for PES2016. All I was able to find was this option file but a few years old.

i downloaded the patch and followed the instructions but unfortunately it didnt work. however, i did notice that it had put all the correct badges on the memory card so i transferred them to the ps3 and could then upload them to the game manually. Looks like this is gonna take some time
