• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

2006 FIFA World Cup (EA Sports)

well I dont like the way RTFWC plays on the 360 at all! it feels cheap and tacky and the shooting/passing system is abysmal!

i just knew there was info coming today, no better point to release some new shots

i think it looks okay, will be getting it just for the stadia and to get some WC atmosphere. WC 2002 was a pretty nice game.

WC2002's presentation was well put together, I only hope they really work on WC2006 as being a 360 Owner it will be nice to see this turn out to be a reasonable game before PES. RTFWC2006 isnt a very good game to play and as cowden said the players looked too shiny and dipped in hot way to be real and some didnt even look anything like their real life counterparts.

the new kits look fantastic.

but we all know its gonna be a pile crap when released.

Edit : wtf is this...released in April?! I cant believe that. RTWC will just about be 4 months old! Hope its a considerable improvement!

I think it looks good, lets just wait and see for more screenshots etc.. before we jump to conclusions.

Those pics are from the xbox/ps2/pc version. Theres no way they would make the graphics worse from Road to World Cup. Just look at the boots and grass.
 
thats because its a dedicated world cup game Rune, when FIFA 07 comes out thats when Club teams will be there.

C&VG have just posted up their report about FIFA World Cup. They reckon all them shots are Xbox 360..... Looks like the graphics have de-graded a bit since RTFWC.

Well I dont know what this shot is, but I doubt very much it's FIFA World CUp 2006 seeing as it's Barca v Man Utd, with Deco v Giggs for the ball and Rio in the background. This reminds me more of the PC shots of FIFA 06.
 
Ah ok, I understand now. I thought someone had lifted the screen shots and not really looked at them.
 
Thats a bit more like it! Finally!!! We celebrate lifting a trophy we have just worked hard to win!! I hated FIFA 06 when you won a major trophy and you were just presented with a text based screen saying "Congratulations Man United for winning the FA Premier League" No trophy lifting ceremony!

PES Rules in that department because I love it when you see the players step up to receive the trophy :)
