community mode and playing solo

If I want to create a custom league or cup tournament, I need to go to Community mode. But can I create this league or cup and then play ON MY OWN against the computer, OFFLINE ? I suspect I won't be able to, because that's why it's called COMMUNITY mode ( playing with others ).
In previous versions of P.E.S. we could play the cpu in - game as we would any other competition.Don't tell me we can't do this anymore ?
Anyone care to explain if it is actually still possible ?

You can try it and when it asks how many users just select 1.

Or maybe you can go to edit league and do it that way?

More to the point, why did Konami remove the 'Custom League/Cup' mode?

It needs to return for PES2012.

There is custom League/Cup mode in PES2011.

Yes, there is inside community mode, but I'm talking about the option that used to be in the league/cup mode on the top menu. It was taken out a couple of years ago when the community mode was introduced.

Being able to set-up a one player vs AI league within the community mode seems a bit pointless to me.
