hello everyone and happy easter, hope you all are doing alright ? crazy times out there...

so i'm having random computer problems, and i don't know who to ask really, only person i couldve asked was my Uncle No.1 (i have/ had two uncles and two aunts),
but he passed away last year, and we were not really close either. so no one left in my family that knows anything about computers. bummer.
anyway, i built my computer late 2024 on a budget (spoiler, it blew the budget to smitherines lol) and was super happy with everything at first,
because this d*mb id!ot made it work and everything ran fine.
then last year's spring, i upgraded to a single-cell tower cpu cooler+heatsink, and some slightly nicer RAM, all on AM4 & DDR4 platform.
last year i also tested (beta phase) and bought Rematch... yeah, you may already guess where this is going lmao

to the point:
the system randomly shuts down / goes into Power Cycle ?
the game freezes on screen for a couple seconds, then black screen, then it takes around 20 secs until system shuts down completely.

NO ERROR MESSAGES ON SCREEN either, i'm on windows 10, core isolation stuff is enabled for security ?
maybe i shut turn that off, dunno if that means doing a full system wipe and re-install windows ?
i can turn off the system by pressing power button while it cycles, then wait like 5 secs, then turn it back on with power button, starts into BIOS and windows as usual.
the only messages that are coming up, are the "unexpected system failure" paired with "default settings have been restored" for my AMD Graphics Card, once i'm into windows desktop.
it used to be rare, random in no particular intervalls, and ONLY for Rematch, around the same time when that stoopid sh!t game was also throwing loads of Runtime / Unreal Engine Errors,
but last night it happened the first time with another game Palia, i load and play all those thru Steam for some context.
again, i have no better indication with error messages, i'm able to load my saved settings for AMD Adrenaline Software/ GPU Control Panel,
and my system started fine today as well, all BIOS settings were loaded as it should be, with custom fan curves etc

i dont even know where to begin to look ?!
my custom settings with a bit of undervolting / light overclocking from base clock speeds ?
can i have NO undervolting and custom settings then, at all ??
software side from windows / their security sh!t, Steam Client, the games software ?
hardware side from when i had installed CPU cooler and RAM, last year ?
everything else runs fine, photo and video editing as well as GameMaker and other software have never once crashed my system like this.
like i said, system usually starts fine and loads all my settings, AMD control panel etc etc

maybe one of you fine people can give me some pointers in the right direction ?
any help would be very much appreciated, i don't like resorting to ask chatgpt about it :BLEH:

oh yeah, some specs maybe (i swear i'm not bragging) :
MSI B550 A-Pro Mommyboard
AMD Ryzen, 5700X CPU, manual OC to 3800 Mhz and undervolting to 1.1 V (default was 1.2 ?)
(forgot brand name) DDR4 RAM, set to 3600 Mhz and underv. to 1.35 V (default was 1.396 ?)
AMD GPU, Radeon 7600 XT with some custom sets, light undervolting / slightly lower frequencies

thanks for reading all this sh!t btw :SAL:

Have you tried both games official discord channels? Sure, if it was just one game, it would probably be easier to troubleshoot... reddit has a couple of posts regarding both games, not sure if you tried 'em out (not entirely sure if they're copied from official discord channels though):

Rematch (since you mentioned beta testing the game) Also, source:

Not sure if it's much help, but maybe it's worth a try...? Wish I could help more, but I've stayed away from multiplayer games and MMO's my entire life, so... I've absolutely no idea mate, I'm sorry :\

thanks for your help,
yeah i understand why you might want to stay away from online games / mmo's after recent years' experiences :TTTH:
it was also in elite dangerous a couple times, so more likely an issue revolving around my whole computer / the settings i may have changed

but anyway, i'll try some of those
maybe i just have to go all-default / all-auto settings in my BIOS,
certainly dont want to risk my new system to break and become unusable
