It's the last EA FC on oldgen, so maybe they want to make since a long time a good game with many new modes.

It's the same game.

When I see so many "innovations and announcements", I know it's literally nothing.

Still looks like an ice hockey game. Passing is horrible. No physics with the players and the ball is sticking to the foot.

Hope I won't sound too negative, but after the mortifying "simulation mode" of the last year I'll believe bold claims like this one to be anything more than empty gimmicks after I'll see solid proofs.

Watched the trailer and to be honest they are saying the right things. How different authentic is to competitive and to previous years is the big question. All about gameplay for me graphics are fine.

to be honest, i'm already very grateful for fc25 gameplay. main problems are players dribbling like skating on pitch, emphasis of players movements due to animations and some ai defend issues. but you can fix these a bit with mods. if they can improve agility and responsiveness of players, emphasis of players movements perhaps will be fixed.

in every single year that ea announce new fifa game, people say "oh this is same shit again" or "old games were better".
i remember a lot of bad comments about fifa 17-18 at the time especially in this forum (you can check it out in fifa 17-18 general discussion threads). but nowadays people think that fifa 17-18 are awesome.

i'm certainly sure that people will mention fc24-25-26 as good games after 7-8 years.

From what I’ve seen on the FUT subreddit this year, online players seem to think good AI defending removes any “skill gap” and they would rather players stand there like statues, even if it means every game has 10 goals

Well @Chris Davies you got your wish to have a sim & casual mode, how different they will truly be is yet to be apparent, as usual these reveal trailers are 2 second jump cut sensory attacks that often conceal the flaws.

On the positive side the running looks a little better & midfield seems to be tracking back while defending more than they did on vanilla 25.

They claim they've improved keeper intelligence so I'm hoping that includes coming off they're line & not politely waiting for a striker to jog through on goal.
