You dont need to spend money, you play your two matches and simulate the rest be busy in the menus and come back tomorrow when the time resets.
I dont even mind this to be fair especially since it is a limited event and as long as one point there will be a more detailed ML. Very possibly this is the prototype of the future ML if we want to be optimistic.
 
Fake players with fake skills and fake methods are playing in fake game with fake promises, mates - it's a new genre now - FFFFF game .:PINKS:

Touché Konami, their gacha game did a gotcha on me once again. I would say their professional troll on Pes' dead corpse is complete, but I'm positive they've got plenty more middle fingers to give the Pes fans in the future.
 
The funny thing is that Master League is just My league reskinned. Nearly identical mechanics except you now don't even play all matches. But everything else is nearly the same.
 
Played a few games last night, exhibition, and as much as people hate many aspects of the game, the gameplay is amazing. Again, it improved from the previous version - but for me it's probably the biggest noticeable improvement between versions - particularly with ball movement, ricochets, and first touches (more realistic in that the ball is looser with more variety of how far the ball bobbles from the player). Best football gameplay on pc.

If this "co-called game" even allowed to have any real achievment, name will be "Best frustrating gameplay for both sides" (c)

Important hint
There is no any gameplay, you are almost excluded from proccess of controlling events on the field.
Reason of this - technology DDA, that applyed now in most games.

Looking on weird "Pumpkin" at score goal, I was remembered about "Halloween", and found new name for this "perfect simulator" - "eByeByeLose" :COOL: .

Honestly, very sad, that with this new generation of players we are completely lost culture of communication between rivals on the field, while earlier in PES 6 online times we are played with each others from different countries on our Earth, and I remember very well this words "have a good games, mates" before and after match.

And now their motto "score more goals during match, do not matter even in your rival do not played for few minutes" (c)

I can see where you’re coming from, however when you find the right gameplay patch for PES 2021, I don’t think efootball can compete.

Thats the problem. All this games potential is locked away in exhibition mode. As soon as you want to do anything your forced into using your fantasy overpowered Dream Team players for anything offline and online as konami want to leave you with no choice but to pay for microtransactions. Its sad but this is why everyone see this game as a joke!

This is why i call this game evil. If the gameplay was shit like with EA which is in dire need of a engine then ahh well. But the fact they have wasted such an incredible base is criminal and over the last 2-3 years i really despise this game and what it represents.

- Old school PS2 PES will always be fun but its dated, stuck in 8 directions, no proper manual and i've done everything on those games already.
- PES 2008-2013 never had the proper engine.
- PES 2014-2021 never had the fox engine finished to get rid of the tron running.

We are best off helping this guy build his simulation. Football gaming remains mired in the dark arges.

Thread '4fansGames - indie football sim in development'

It's currently a one-person development and he says his focus is to be on realistic gameplay, AI, tactics and offline play with ball physics already fairly developed.

It may come to nothing but at least shows some initial promise. Given Konami and EA's direction of travel, and the underwhelming state of every other more recent football game, fixating on crap online play and/or microtransactions ahead of legitimate gameplay, he probably has as much chance as of any of them in delivering a...

I have no idea what you just wrote. But, in terms of Gameplay, how it feels playing the game, response time, animations, ball physics, how it looks - in terms of animations and realism, It's the best football sim hands down. This new update is amazing. Definitely a noticeable improvement in ball physics and variation of first touch etc. Even shooting feels better. I think they've added more weight to the game, including animations to make things seem more seemless/smooth. Anyways, feels better than my previous favorite pes2021. Anyone else feeling it - or play exhibition games just for the gameplay?

For me, I don't have the time to do anything other than exhibition games... ie. i just like the plug and play approach, and play exhibition for a fun game. Topplayer-Superstar, 12mins, full manual... and it's as good as it gets. Get a mate over and play 1 v 1 and it's as good as simulated football gets. Again, just talking about gameplay, on the ball, on the controller stuff. Feels great simply passing the ball around - not sure what theyve done, but things just feel so good at the minute, with smoothness and response time. Cheers.

my exhibition match with that stupid engine more adapted for a cell phone game it's a shit also with 5.4 exe, with their skatering animations and absurd gameplay respect any other one I can found on PES2021 / FL2026 game-play mods

I’ve got a mate who pops round to my place every now and then to play on the PC against me... we have a couple of games to unwind... 1v1 from Live...
When I run eFootball, even with the latest version, he begs me on his knees to put Football Life 2026 on for him, with whatever gameplay he wants, as long as it’s not eFootball... and he is one that doesn’t play at home on a console, PC or mobile phone. Ever since the first time I showed him eFootball – even though he’d already been playing Football Life 2026 for times at my home – he hated it at first sight without even having played it. After that, with the controller in his hand, he was ready to beat me up if we didn’t go back to playing FL2026... :D

Apart from the game-play in efootball, he also hates the graphics engine and the animations... He can see the difference at a glance... I don’t know what you all love so much about these limited mobile animations, designed more for a responsive online game than a single-player experience, which I hear some of you praising from time to time... well... I’m baffled, but the world is ‘beautiful’ because it’s diverse... or so they say... :D

I think the claim efootball is the best simulation game available is exaggerated, but at the same time I think your assessment is overly negative.

The thing about efootball is that you need to play a number of games to ‘climatise’ to it. It’s more responsive and moves quicker than PES 2021 patches, however after some matches it becomes normal, and the good things it does start to emerge.

Personally I think 5.4 is a very nice improvement, and they’re definitely getting there with the quality. However, for me, the distance between this and FL26/PES 2021 with gameplay mods remains vast.
 
I downloaded and played the latest version. In my purely personal opinion, the game is very, very bad. And to prove my point, I always keep the last two milestone games from KONAMI on my PC: PES 6 (although I liked 5 more, but okay, 6 is the last of the series with incredible mods) and PES 2013. Unfortunately, even in these games with their outdated mechanics, the fun and the way they've captured football in 5 minutes per match, is light years ahead of eFootball.

The players are like moving glass bottles who don't even realize the ball is passing right next to them, only noticing it after 1-2 seconds. It’s very slow in reactions, with players sliding on the grass and full of RNG. I really don’t know what went wrong with this company that they've stuck with the recipe from PES 2014, which was visually incredible but terrible in terms of gameplay. And the bad part is that in terms of lighting and physics, PES 2014 remains the king of the genre.

However, the most important thing in a game is the controls and inputs. And there, eFootball, fails completely. I don't know if it was designed for 1 vs CPU, but for 1vs1, this game is unplayable. Especially when we're talking about online play, where things get even worse due to delay.
 
Wow, I'm seeing a new game with this new 5.4.0. Ok, with all the hate I'm skeptical if people have actually tried this new update. I've always liked this efootball since 2023 (hated the optimizations and stutter in the first few versions), but since then it's usually been slowly improving every version.

This new version without doubt has had the most dramatic change - just looking at the list of gameplay changes, it's the most I've seen :https://www.konami.com/efootball/en/page/v5/versioninfo_v5-40

Btw, I'm playing this game on a high end gaming pc at either 4k@60hz or 1080p@120hz. Both are fluid, but im now leaning towards the 4k option as the turf looks markedly better.

Again, im not sure on what systems people are playing this game on (and how it effects overall experience), or if in fact they've actually played the newest version, but this is amazing. Biggest difference for me is how much better the ball physics are, in terms of a much greater variation in ball speed and momentum, as well as how much more realistic the ball touches are... way looser now, with way more variety in how big certain touches are. This leads to easier dispossession of the cpu on the ball, due to a bad trap, and also seems to slow the game down. And the weight of the players and ball has improved. Personally, for me it feels like a different game, in a way more realistic way. Played about 2hrs last night, in Exhibition, full manual, 12min games, top player - superstar..... best football simulation Ive played. Surely someone has experienced what im experiencing. Gotta check out some review on YouTube.....

I love pes2021, particularly with the mods including Holland's gameplay mods. But compared to what im playing on efootball, its definitely feeling more on rails in comparison. Efootball, and particularly this new version is way more free feeling, not only in terms of movement and dribbling, but also in terms of the momentum and inertia of players. Seems to be more frames in animations... and for me this makes a hige difference in realism when on the ball or defending.

I can see that, but I think I’m not a huge fan of the core animations when players are running and dribbling. There’s also a lack of variety and unique animations for different players.

For the ball physics, there’s a variety I think based on which mods you use, there are some mods that really free things up.

Out of interest, which difficult do you ply efootball on?
