I’ve noticed that on manual shooting, the ball is laser guided to exactly where I’m shooting. By contrast in FIFA 17 (and even the dreaded FC26), there is a significant veer so it’s quite hard to get a long shot on target. Which I kind of like. It feels a bit like cheating when it’s so precise.
 
I'm wondering how to make FIFA 16 even more challenging throughout the season. I use a combination of gameplay mods and extreme sliders, and it's harder than the original game, but... it's usually around matchday 30 (I play in the EPL) that the really fun and challenging matches start, regardless of the opponent (probably some script that makes the final stages of the league more difficult to avoid winning the championship too easily). I'm wondering if there's a way to make this script work throughout the season, or at least in matches against strong opponents? Maybe some lines in cl.ini or something similar?
 
The camera being bound to the ball is especially noticeable in broadcast replay camera, but it's also true in game to a slightly lesser extent. FIFA's camera tracking has always had this element and I find it incredibly frustrating. I've tried so many things to stop this with FIFA 16's broadcast camera angles (although it's not as noticeable in the Broadcast Camera Package #2 I made).

When you shoot for example, the camera still moves based on the position of the ball, which makes the camera feel slightly jerky and less realistic. @6ons1 has a great breakdown of this somewhere and shows how the camera tracking should settle once it's facing the final third.
I know its been a while but has anybody been able to fix this camera situation? I use Tele Broadcast and it's really annoying. Thanks.

there was a setting about ball tracking speed in fc25 but ea removed in fc26. we've to fix ball tracking speed because sometimes it seems too fast that leads to have nauseous
 
Hi Guys, the great Scouser09 just released the FIFAInfinity Patch 9.0 recently. Updates FIFA 16 with Squads from 2025/26 Season and adds a bunch of again new never seen Leagues.

hello can u advise me plz on what sliders to use with cheatengine speedhack for fifa 16, as it seems to be it breaks the gameplay when u use os sliders with speedhack, any way to make this game play like PES, meaning, having more control of the game with the flow of passing? for me PES feels more satisfying when u make more than one chance and then u get the goal, where in fifa, it could be ur first chance on goal and u score from it, i don t know how to explain

For an difference to feel about ball physics and movement by groundpasses, did you ever before tried it with ANth´s Physics mods? It´s the nearest what I would recommend you. You need only Cheat Engine installed and than download the tool and follow the little readme inside the download folder to make the mod quick running on your FIFA 16. It have nothing to do with speedhack. You can use it with or without speedhack.

But related to your question to make a complete different game more like PES it´s close to impossible because of the different game engines both game are based on. With sliders or cheat engine you can only try to tweak around what the base of FIFA 16 is. If it would be easy possible to access the gameplay sections in FIFA 16 maybe a bit more could be affected related to gameplay.
But even with Frosty Tools in FC Games it´s not really possible to alter the gameplay in a way that everything is close to PES and vice versa.

Guys... Has anyone managed to get a slow tempo with CB Jockey gone in this game? Is probably one of the things that prevents me more of enjoying FIFA 16. The rest is quite great, but damn CB not tracking runs into the area when the ball is advanced in the flank, is killing me.

Are you on v1.07/Cracked one with Slow Speed + Lower Sprint/Accel combo? If yes, it's bound to happen!
Unfortunately, the game speed, jockey and the movement are all tied up since FIFA 14 (Ignite/PS4). You could prevent or lessen the impact to a certain degree if you don't touch the game speed and Sprint/Accel sliders. I play on v1.00 with Normal Speed and untouched sliders. I don't have this kind of issue/didn't notice these kind of issues, luckily. Less is better for FIFA 16 since the base is really solid and stable. Good luck!

I don't play v1.07, only played it a few times years ago. So, my suggestion maybe or may not be effective in it, but try normal game speed with untouched sprint speed/accel sliders. See, I didn't even notice this issue in my playthrough. Cheers!
 
in fact as done for version 1.00 also for version 1.07 abandonware I play at normal speed with slides always at default

It was happening even in Normal Speed without touching sliders. And the problem is not the speed, is the logic behind when and how to sprint. I managed to solve this somehow (don't ask me exactly how cause I don't know) in FIFA 17, but for some reason, I couldn't fix it in FIFA 16. Which is a pity, because animation and ball physics wise is better than FIFA 17, but still has this problems.

Well CB don't track back and either they stay jockeing or jogging instead of running full speed into the defence.

I'm playing 1.07 totally vanilla (doing a very long career a bit on and off, I'm in my 11 or 12 seasons) on EA APP, sliders modified a bit to handicap myself (major one CPU having the edge on speed sprint by 2 points) and I've never had the whole defense line not tracking. The single defender or player "disinterested" yes, but it's rare and occasional enough that it's not remotely game breaking (it also happens randomly in practically any Fifa after 14, although I think from frostbite on it's even rarer).

I just did a friendly to test this specifically out (me, Bayern, vs Accrington (League Two) and although I have defenders that sometimes slow down a bit, they always sprint back to their attacker and generally hold position correctly. The general behaviour of the line (the one I also observed in the 99% of my career games) has been this:



Any chance you are playing with a custom cl.ini? This specific thing of the whole cbs line line stopping altogether used to happen to me with a modified cl.ini years ago. Since it had a good gameplay and rythm except from that, I tried to insist on it for a while, but I wasn't capable to isolate the bad string and ultimately dropped it.

I do use a custom cl.ini. And I checked hella lanes, and none has ever been the responsible for this. Have you ever tried slow speed + less speed in the sliders? I've found it to happen many times that the defenders do not track back into the area, specially if you use the off-side tactic.

If you're going to reduce sprint speed / acceleration then you'll most likely eventually run into this problem, but it's not built into the core game unless the changes are made.
 
I'm on the verge of getting sacked playing as Portsmouth with RFS in FIFA 16. Using my own custom database where I've added 6 new UEFA club competitions for teams below the 1st tier. Actually have REAL second division teams from around 40 something countries. And here's a silly goal I scored from my final group game against a extremely obscure team Dinamo Baku who I beat 6-1.

 
As we all know, version 1.00 is better than 1.07, at least from a simulation perspective. Since many people (including myself) aren't able to try version 1.00, I wonder if someone could give some suggestions about the mods (and sliders) which bring 1.07 the closest possible to the far less arcade gameplay of 1.00, especially with regard to balanced CPU AI and fouls (there are many more fouls in 1.00 version). By the way, at the moment I'm using Anth's ball physics mod for v1.07 and I find it excellent
