Football Kingdom [PS2]

Has anyone come across the issue in emulating where the players are all black shadows? I'd love to play this on my Ambernic but can't because of this issue
With Football Kingdom, the problem with the emulator is that if you set the resolution too high in the emulator, you get graphics errors. In other games, I was able to play 2K without any problems.

Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly, but there were 1080p (Full HD) or even fewer lines on the screen. Maybe it's the same problem. I think it's the game engine that's causing the problems. I think 720p was OK.

I might do some research with this info. I had the same problem in This Is Football 2005. But weirdly only in daylight. In night matches, or stadium shadows, the players were all normal again

Your saved_OF still crashes when editing Shirt Name for MIGUEL MONTEIRO (Portugal). The emulator immediately crashes and out game. :((
p/s: I used 'pcsx2-v2.1.30'

If you still get the error again after trying some memcard exchange or else, i can try on a real hardware if the problem persist.
Sending the whole memcard or extract the FK file : same to me i'm used with all Ps2 hack ;)
Not reallly hack on 2025 but abandonware since a long time;

I don't know yet when when i'll be available(doesn't depends on me), but on the afternoon or sooner i will try on real Hardware, i resolved many "mmcard errors" with some trick.
But it didn't always worked, some file gets corrupt and you can't do anything to it.

Hi guys, I hope someone can help me. I remember a guy named Peda69Kits on Twitter made a patch for Football Kingdom with authentic kits for the national teams. Sadly his profile is gone, does anyone have that patch?
so finally do you get this patch?

This WE5FE patch crashes when you play Master League and try to sign players, the screen freezes. Is there a solution? I've tried several OPL games via USB.

My beloved unclassified version ❤️
I was already in love later than Pes 1 (first with clubs playable directly but not up to date), after being disappointed byt WE5 basic looking in everything as a Psx port without effort for animations etc.,
BUT WE5FE that one with transfers and more structured than Pes 1 i played it long time ago and played a lot some years. That one and Pes 1 were like chess-football but with a enormous importance about timing, it was captivating.

There was a guy named Peda487 (i put a random number) was about to assign kits on that version : he never did it but WE5Jleague instead.
Only on Pes 1 but the pitch sound disappeared totally, if it was music : no prob, no care to me, now ground, players ball and pitch sound is obviously important. And that patch erased it :(

He tried something that no one did before, and kits where assigned on final even without sound : he deserves applause;

Ah yes, i've found what i searched about console hexadecimal editing about players.
On Ps2 Market ML value is hidden on the main database file when you unzlib it, but for the old-next-geh version no idea, i suppose it's on the player full Hex data. Those players data are bigger and bigger the more you advance on yearly version the bigger the data for a player Hex is. Even with stats removed.

Apparently it's no longer up! Damn, should've backed up at least the modded PES versions. There was PES 1 for PS2 with authentic kits!
He still has his blusky account "@peda69kitmaker.bsky.social". His pinned post says he deleted his work from drive but he also has a drive link in his bio that seems to contain football kingdom patch. I tried to DM him but I think his DM's are blocked.

Anyway, I downloaded the files in his drive but I don't know how to apply them to my copy of the game. There is a program called fooked 0.2 in the package but it doesn't seem to run (it was created in 2004, maybe a compatibility issue). Anybody have any idea how to apply the patch?

Hello beautiful community :)

As I know there are a lot of fans for this game in here and I know for fact that most of them are modders, I was kind of free the weekend I manage to move forward on a file explorer for the game files

leave a few previews

Still there's some work to do but I think I'll be able to release a first version somewhere soon, I'll also leave some links for external tools that could help on the editing of the game, such as converting audio sounds to wav and back to nps which is the format this game use, editing textures which are in TM2 format, etc

EDIT. the motivation for this project was actually seeing that @fernando decided to come back to release a new version of his translation :)

Great work, can’t wait to try it🙂

one more thing with FK:

i never met any player injury during game match,
so i wonder that if they not finished and put injury function in this FK trial edition ?

  • Limitations: The trial version has, minimal teams/modes and some, complaints regarding, passing mechanics, according to GameFAQs users.
  • Injuries: While realistic in movement, the game is,not widely noted for a,prominent,in-game injury system.

Like i said on the other thread, the treatment the test-game received was hard, that was PES-WE era so every football games where directly compared to them, all of them got a bad rating in magazine and website like Famitsu especially.
Trial means it was unfinished, that's a bit unfair, but the game released during PES 2 or PES 3 era (if i remember) got some big arguments and could perhaps not be as good as the Konami franchise but at least an alternative.

There's many stuffs you could do in that game that was impossible in others series : 360 degree dribbling AND passing for through ball, an advanced system for Free Kick with a pointer on the ball like on snooker/billard games to give effect not only from right to left but also up/down...

Shooting was very perfectible and a bit one dimensionnal in comparison even to Ps2 FIFA but the base was solid for a very first try.
Not a single demo or game got FK Trial deepness of gameplay on is first launch, so it would have been a very very solid alternative if they released sequels with changes, rectifications etc.

But that's all Namco's fault, they lost theirs balls - second + first degree - when they got feedbacks from test and 5 to 7/10 ratings for their unfinished released game. They could perfect things and release at least a final version later.

This is Football series still released their version with or without PES and Fifa presence, Club Football too (well, only 2 versions which was 2005 and 2006 but at least : they tried and didn't given a damn about PES) AND i don't forget neither Virtua Striker 3 on Gamecube only, unfortunately i would say... Even if my religion was Pes, i would have kicked off a Virtua Striker 3 to play with friends on others console.

My apologies, but my ocd won't let this go 🤣 Club Football was firstly the 03/04 season, released in Oct 2003. The sequal was released in Oct 2004, for the 04/05 season. There was also an "England game" (April '04), which was purely international teams, but would count as a third release I feel.

Nonetheless, your point still stands true and strong. I wish we could've seen a full Football Kingdom, as what is there is good. Even if it was just national teams, it would've been enough, I guess (but people would complain, 'where's the clubs?')

so that is.
and i view through the SLPS_203.74 file . all words about injury just injury time.
so there no actually injury system in the trial edition
and even one place "lman.match_setting.injuly = %d" :it maybe a spell mistake injuly for injury.

but it is still a brand new concept football game never out-time now
