• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

Hmm, ok. I'll have a look at it and maybe use one or two of the options. Time Wasting is definitely one to be used though, you're right there.

Update on my season:
It's Feb. 24th and I'm in 2nd place 4 points behind Liverpool with a game in hand. I've just beat Partizan away 5-0 in the first knockout round of the CL. I just beat Arsenal at home 3-1 in the 5th round of the FA Cup. I'm out of the Carling Cup. So far I think I'm doing pretty well. Doubt I'll get to far in the CL, but this year was not about winning it. It was just about playing in it. I do want to win the league though.
 
I usually keep them the same before the match. I go by some of the pre match info. Like a team struggles against a high line. So I change the d line to a high one. I usually only have 3 options on each setting. For example, if I'm messing with the d line, I use the last notch of deep, the middle notch of normal, and the first notch of high. I use those same positions for each of those sliders as my choices. Also in the pre match info, if it says a team struggle against narrow width or slow tempo, I change accordingly. I usually start with a normal dline, narrow width, slow tempo and normal time waisting.

I just checked my Previous Experience, and I started at Premiership club West Ham and set it to automatic. Just looked at it's set it to Sunday League Footballer?! No wonder I can't get another fucking decent job.
 
Quite annoyed at this. I set it to automatic because it said it would automatically set my previous experience dependant on the first club you start at to match the rest of that division. How many Premiership managers have only played fucking Sunday League Football?!

I thought I read somewhere that there was a little bit of an issue with setting it to automatic. I set mine to the third one. Whatever that is.

Yeah probably not. I'll keep playing through man an apply the patch when it comes out.

I think I am trying to give away the title. I got crushed by Chelsea 3-1 and then lost to Sunderland at home 0-1. I believe there are 3 games left. However I am in the semis of the CL against Liverpool.
 
Here we go. Last day of the season. I was knocked out of the semis of the CL by Liverpool on aggregate 3-2. I've lost to Sunderland and Totenham in 2 of my last 3 matches in the EPL. This is what the top of the table looks like:

I'm Fulham by the way. I play at home against Leeds who is 15th. Chelsea plays away to Wigan who is 13th. Man U plays away to Nottm Forest who is 12th. Liverpool is at home against West Ham who is 11th. It would seem that I have the easiest match but all the matches look winable by the other teams. Hope things go my way.

Edit: My top stiker Christian Benetiz has been out for the past 2 months and is still not available. I'm glad I'm still doing this well.

Not looking good for me. Hopefully I survive to play in the CL next season.
 
It's all over and I finished 3rd in the league.

A bit disappointed as I should have won the league this season. Guess we will try even harder next season. Just missing a couple of more pieces to the puzzle and need some key backups.

I updated and started a new game as Aston Villa, with no budgets enabled in the first window. Set my Past Experience to Professional, same as yours.

First match was home to Chelsea! We won 1-0 :)). Through to the Europa League group stage too after a 4-0 aggregate win. Lost to Spurs 3-0 in the Premiership but then beat Wigan 3-1.
 
I started a new game with Novara in Serie B. I was expected to come 14th, but fought and finished 7th. On the last day of the season, I was winning 5-2 away against Frosinone. I was in the playoff spot because Torino was winning against Ascoli 2-1. At full time, I looked at the standings, and fucking Ascoli came back to win 2-3 in the last 2 minutes, stealing the final playoff spot!!!!

I'm in my second season and have built a very competitive squad. In total, my transfer budget since I joined has been £17,000. My goal is to get promoted.

That's a tough one to swallow there. Almost makes you want to give up when you get that close. Good luck with this season.

Little update:

Drew 1-1 away at Everton after equalizing in the 85th minute, then beat Lech 2-0 in the first Europa Group match. Also in my group are CSKA Moscow and Metalist. Then lost 2-1 at home to Man City despite dominating the match, so pleased despite the result.

Had a couple of bad injuries too, Darren Bent has torn a groin and out for 8 weeks, and Downing has broken his foot and out for 3 months. Oh dear!
 
I'm still on my FM10 Juventus game (in 2025 and had a stadium named after me built) that I've had for over a year now. Will finally start a new game when the new patch comes out in about a weeks time.
