[General Discussion] What have you been playing this week?

All about that Yotei. Have been a bit frustrated by some difficult encounters but tonight I reached a point where I can't wait to play more.

After about 130 hours, I finally finished Witcher 3 with both DLCs. I completed all quests except for the Gwent and horse racing quests.
There are still many question marks on the maps, but I think I'll leave it at that for now. Probably the best game I've ever played, it was an even better experience than my first play (not completed) on the PS4.

Next game for me will be AC Shadows as I bought it in the Xbox sale last week.

For about two years now, I've been able to play and complete longer games again. That wasn't possible for many years because I would only play a game (or two or three at the same time) for a few hours and then return to Pes/FIFA like an addict.
But EA and Konami have really helped me to recover from that in the last few years.

Ive re started The Witcher 3, my first play through was a year ago but didn't have the dlc back then, taking it slow some main story but mostly side missions and just riding around exploring the map.
Level 11 so far and next up is the crone's of crookback bog.

Some, or in fact a lot of NHL, and the worst (for many) game in the series , NHL 15.
A very stripped down game, but for "modern" game it's very solid gameplay, CPU actually play hockey and not ping pong rocket keague

Suddenly we are in game industry now in moment, I think, where many time-old, but solid-made projects from gameplay point of view in times better, that games of current time on the game market.

Really depends on which version of NHL 15 you speak about. NHL 15 "new gen" - PS4, Xbox One is really a bad game. NHL 15 for PS3 and Xbox 360 is last version in its generation and from my point of view it's the best NHL game ever made by EA in terms of realism and hockey feeling.

Thank you for your note about NHL 15 for PS3. It's interesting.

I started another save in what is by far the most realistic first-person-view game I can remember.
It’s called “Parenting”: basically you are given this sort of human Tamagotchi and need to keep him/her happy and comfortable, prevent him/her from starving, from getting injured and from, basically, dying in a dumb way (like falling off the changing table while you’re desperately reaching out for a diaper).
It’s kind of addictive: my first save is going on since 2020 and still getting play time every single day (and sometimes at night too, even if it’s this week’s save the one that keeps me awake the most at night).

100% recommend.
Won’t ecxceed two saves though as it *does* get difficult after that, I’ve been told.

Just like real life, spent the first 3-4 years preventing my daughter from dying each day:)
Securing everything at home etc

I'm currently on a 13 year old save and feel like it's quite buggy at times. Controls are laggy and don't work really well. Hope there will be an update soon.

Could you link to it? I couldn't find it on Steam

Played the Xbox one/PS4 version which is very stripped down, game play quite ok.
Switched to my NHL 19 which I feel is the last good game, not as good as the NHL 13/14/15 on Xbox 360 but on Xbox one gen, pretty damn good

Since my RDR 2 and Witcher 3 games have been played, it kinda killed good games for me, but I'm really hooked on AC oddesey.
I know most AC fans disagree, but to me loving the Witcher 3 it's a pretty damn good game.
Not to far in, level 13 but I got the hang of all upgrades etc and really love it, haven't had this feeling for a game since Skyrim/RDR 2/Witcher 3

I'm almost 60 hrs in on AC oddesey, and I feel I haven't even scratched the surface on this game, and being on and off different islands and seeing all the ? Marks across the map is almost overwhelmingly
Still enjoy it but sometimes game's just too big
