• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

Around 6pm so i have heard. :))

Cant say i have played to much i got update in end (they need to sort out online system for downloads also the server currently down at this time so cant get update) im liking new features i think jaggies been fixed slightly in menus but still quite apparent.

I have been reading to many peoples comments all about Euro 08 and on and off PC like yoyo.

I have done few races had it on standard physics there also professional which is more sim like i think i feel a definite improvement in controls they feel more sharp but this could just be mind playing tricks.

Bought Honda Integra Type R (first car start with 35,000) and just remembered how much i like Suzuka track. The Orange Ford focus ST is really mean and stands out right at you on track for its obvious colour looks really nice.

Overall similar to Japanese version with more cars few updates and 2 player split and also drifting mode so cant complain really. :))

Anyway GTHD was early life version of this which was early in development it got canned and now all effort went into this i expect it is alot better considering time had to work on it.

I never played GTHD but that general opinion from what i picked up on other opinions this is basically much better. Its basically one big stepping stone until full game in 09 its kind of like a beta and Polyphony will be adjusting to it and trying new ideas/content until release. :))

I realise it's just a shiny GT4, I was just hoping that the engine had moved on a lot since then - not just in terms of graphics but in terms of handling. Driving in GTHD is like driving on ice as far as I'm concerned, you move the stick slightly one way and the car is shooting off the road. I know some people disagree with this but I played it again last night and I just cannot understand how, perhaps I've got a dodgy pad but the car is all over the place. It's like driving a fish across a skating rink.

I just hope it's not the same as that, that's what I was trying to get at.

Oh another thing which is cool you can put your replays on pen drive so people could upload them somewhere share them here if wanted. :))

Thats not the case on GT 5 prologue i can assure you now just gone round in Integra Type R and you can really feel the weight and its quite sluggish to turn no quick movement as you describe.

Edit: The controls feel no different to that of Forza tbh (i think brakes are better in GT5 personally) you can turn car left and right and its responsive but its certainly not over the top i see no problem with handling seem fine to me but maybe will be perceived different by other we shall see.

I think this is absolute shocking from Sony totally missed there announce date of when they would put Prologue game up on PS Store.

Lets be honest here its been scheduled for quite a while i dont think there can be any excuses.

I played it shit loads at work today and unlocked the Audi R8, only to be disappionted with the performance :( gutted we cant mod cars in this version. I was Driving the Skyline GTR 07 to actually complete the B-Class event to get onto A-Class to get the Audi, and it felt awfully slow. You get killed on the daytona track with anything slighty underpowered on the straight, hence the R8 now being used exclusively on the tight London track.

No aftermarket parts in version that will be full game but there tuning in shape of Gear ratio and lowering suspension etc.

Where you work was it connected up to net if not you have not got the latest updates (which are absolute must). ?

When you pop the game in the drive it asks for an update, its on the disc.

No it installs stuff to HDD which takes 10 mins then there update you get online thats takes about 40 mins to download as it keeps erroring says downloading then bar will go some and could error.

This then takes it to Spec 2 to left hand corner of main menu.

Na sorry might of not explained right just meant that there online update but you dont need it to play it adds stuff to the game. :))

Just a question for reference though as you have not installed update have you got the tuned cars like Amuse S2000/Ferrari F40 in dealership. ?

Just checking if default has the new cars etc or you need the online update.

Just arrived from ShopTo... also got new monitor, surround sound and a 320gb HD - just waiting for my G25 wheel (prob Monday) and we are good to go!!!!

Ok.. seeing as my Euro 2008 Demo In-Depth Review went well yesterday, I shall be doing a GT5 ProLogue review this afternoon.... I havent played it yet or even taken it out of the case so it will be a Genuine 1st experience of the game....

I just rang my local Blockbuster to see if I could rent it but no joy, all out. So I downloaded some videos instead and they're jaggyariffic :|
