@JamieH if it was related to a Fox engine game : it's totally normal than they don't have a lot of stadiums because it was, from what we know after tons of interview between 2013 and 2020 really difficult to create a "real" stadium with Fox Engine graphical engine. You can say thanks to Kojima who left the boat at the time (when Konami was still a respectful company) to build his own empire.
The minimum was at least to explain how to program easier the engine he managed to create, but no... But on PS3 version it was extra easy to create a stadium from scratch regarding the number we got in WE 2012 and 2013.
@Yosefus99 thanks for your post i got emotionnally touched by it and i'm sorry too for what happened.
I know what it is and i'm still right now in a difficult situation, my story is like if the sky have fall on me and my father (especially him) head...
And i prefers not talking about as i considers Evo-web as my outlet were i can come here to talk about my biggest passion. I know that i'm writing big posts and not everyone read it but sometimes i need it. I'll stop talking about it, well my first passion is much more editing related + stats aknowledge, testing all versions, analysis etc.
I'm not so young and i got a very big recoil regarding games, how difficult it is to create a football game. And it makes me a little sad and angry when people compare old-gen versions (like recently in retro PES thread) with for example PES 2021 saying it was better before where i see two completely different approach and both are good (while 2019-21 got tons of algorithms, animations, outcomes etc. and played seriously they're bangers)
The philosophy is less "chess-football-fighting game" but they focus on reality and try to reproduce it the best way they could (even in Efootball but gameplays choices regarding scripts are untolerable)
Well, every PES and also FIFA from 08 to 19 are both Action-football type but they're so different in terms of appreciation that to me, they CAN'T be compared at all.
Back to J-League versions : i'm a bit like
@Juventino32 i found JLWE2008CC the best game from PS2 generation by far. And yes, i agree about the JLWE2010CC exception : seems like the old team worked on it as it gives real PES feeling while it's not the case at all with the simplified PES 2009 and PES 2010... And sorry but i don't like neither JLWE2009CC even if it's way better than PES 2009 PS2 (and i even prefers the PS3 version : it's not a new game so i take it for what it is and it's a very fun version, a bit fast but very dynamic and plenty of outcomes).
Perhaps JLWE2007-08 are the most detailled J.League version regarding info and teams history, but in terms of graphisms, players ID, WE2012 and 2013 put the bar very very high : all models got their body structure, their actual hairstyle, and i suppose stats too (as i didn't followed J.League enough to judge player's ID and playing style but i thrust them)
Even better than WE 2014 Aoki in terms of representation as perhaps animations were coming from another dimensions but players model, skins tone etc. was totally off.
One question
@Yosefus99 : did you tried and switched FIFA with J-League on it? As they're K-League, A-League Aussie, Saudi pro league etc. career mode should have been really interesting for asian football fans, not only J.League (even if it's day and night regarding their level of details and accuracy but that's normal : for them it wasn't their country representation league but just one more pack of clubs to play with.
One last thing : i hope we will found at least one DLC for WE 2013 and 2012 (i prefers 2012 gameplay but well, 2013 is good too). very few years that DLC was on a PS3 store application (you launch the app and you can download plenty of games/paid dlc etc.) but they disappeared not so long ago from what i've heard. I even searched in Japanese characters but impossible. For having an O.F. on it you need to convert the option file region (sorry but i don't know how you can do it in mass for 1150 files in the same time, like some OF size i own : i got hard to use Brutefore without having some trouble during the conversion process)
