I was looking for a better quality version of an old football video, & I couldn't find ANY versions of it, seen some people looking for it too
so I dug into my archive to retrieve it. I've got some gold in there, so I'm gonna be choosing some old gold & slowly uploading to the archive, then share here.
(I don't know how many I'll upload, but still I didn't wan't to clog up the other clips/video thread) .. Please feel free to contribute & discuss freely. Doesn't have to be "lost" footage, but let's try & keep them to a certian rarity.

THIS first video though, is legendary. And in my opinion, it alone deserves it's own thread.

50 Very Sensible Goals, presented by Marcus Walkin. (I dunno who he is but big RESPECT to you brother :SAL: )
This masterpiece has it all. The solo kings, some magical 'Tiki-Taka' before it was a word (2 words?) & the thunderbolts from 30+ metres.
Some goals you've probably seen & some I reckon you haven't .. & it's all accompanied & synced with some proper tunes & commentary when required.

From 2012, from a site called everyfourthyear.com, that doesn't seem to exist anymore.. but I tried to go there & it says I'm banned lol
ENJOY! :D

BBL tomorrow with anotha 1!

This was a Roberto Baggio video that was popular in Greece pre-youtube era which I only recently found again in youtube.

Thank YOU. Great video! (I miss that song too lol)
The magic man, Roberto Baggio. When you think there is no more space, he would somehow still find space.

I especially love that goal with Brescia against Juve (assisted by Pirlo)
The aging hero & future superstar combining to topple the giants. Poetic stuff.
A perfect long pass from Pirlo to bypass the whole defence with the timing to ruin the offside..
Then Baggio with the perfect 1 touch to control & dribble the goalkeeper simultaneously, then just pass it into the net. :APPLAUD:

These 2 golden oldies from MILANKAKABAROS(.com) & Fella, one of his crew from an old forum called FootyLounge.
Sadly both websites are gone now, but I put the details I found (blog/twitter of milankakabaros) on the description of the video.
These guy would hold competitions & make some awesome compilations.
(If by some chance you see this, thanks & big respect! I would watch these before a game to get gassed up & ready to play
Hope you are all doing well & sorry I didn't bother to say thanks, way back then.)

& now for a change of pace.. proper editors these lads!

Another great compilation of the great Zinedine Zidane.
I tried my inexperienced hand to try & upscale this, but I have no idea what I'm doing  & the results weren't so good.
But I think it deserves to be on the archive, so I'm just converting them to mkv & be done for now..

I have no idea who made this. I don't even know where I found it lol I'm pretty sure I got it from limewire or KaZaa like 15 years ago.

P.S For more vintage Zizou, there is a French documentary from 2006 called 'Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait'
It's basically footage from like 50 different cameras, that filmed only Zizou for 90 minutes against Villareal (I think)
You have no idea what's happening in the match , but nearly everytime he is recieving & passing the ball, even though it looks so simple, you can hear the whole crowd in the the Bernabeu gasp & applaud his every move.
Absolute cinema! as they say. There is even a suprise plot twist at the end!

.. & speaking of Zidane..

if you didn't know, now you know! Filmed in Australia mate!! :D
(R.I.P to the great Les Murray. An Aussie broadcaster, rockstar & connoisseur of the world game!

Great video.

I always remember one from maybe 20 years ago or a bit less, it was just a Totti goal compilation with the song "Brusco - Ti Penso Sempre", loved both video and song. I don't know if it still available somewhere but I can't find it.

I've noted down the song & I will keep an eye out for that one.
I have a Totti goal comp, but the quality & editing are VERY bad.. & it has a grungy Limp Bizkit song, that doesn't fit Totti's style at all!
(I will still upload it, if you want but I'm sure you can find better)

But I did find this in my goals folder..

I still laugh at the way that #5 slides the wrong way at the post
Usually it's his amazing shooting (rightfully so) that is highlighted, but he was also a very good dribbler!
& he was one of very few who didn't sell out & stayed to play at the team he loves. Massive RESPECT to Totti #10

Got a couple of great compilations of the smiling asassin, Ronaldinho Gaucho!

For me, one of my top 5 all time greats.
When he signed for PSG & again when he signed with Barca, there was alot of talk about how he was just a showman, like Denilson (who had recently flopped at Real Betis).. "He can't do it in europe" was the word going around. But I have a great memory, that made me know better at the time..

It was 1999 & the Brazilian national team was on a big world tour. They allocated 2 games for Australia, 2 friendly matches against the Socceroos!
& the best part? R9 Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima, the king himself was coming! First game was in Sydney (booo) so they flew there first & there he was .. on the news everyday, the talk of the town! There was even one segment where they asked him to juggle one of the Aussie Rules footballs (it's shaped like an American football) .. and he did it with no problem. It was a great time for Aussie "soccer" in general.
Then ofcourse the suits had to step in & ruin it.. The Inter Milan president, didn't like his million(s) dollar man running around for some friendly match in the Australian heat .. so just like that, R9 was on a plane back to Italy the next day. Sad story, but anyway this is about R10 ..

I can't remember what happened in Sydney game but for the Melbourne match, due to the R9 no show, they made it a free gate!
The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) was packed. It holds about 95-98,000 (I think) & there had to be atleast 85,000 people in there.
For a friendly game, it was awesome to witness.

So Australia are cruising against a very young & inexperienced Brazil line-up (captain was Denilson though, he played well)
2-0 at half time & the stadium is buzzing. We all thought it would be an easy win & the crowd even started a Mexican wave..
Up steps a 17-year old Ronaldinho to the touchline. It's about 65-70th minute.
I recall me & my mate had a laugh about how they brang "fake Ronaldo" lol. He was just a scrawny little kid & we weren't expecting anything. But nobody told this scrawny little kid, that it's just a friendly match
He was a proper menace & he changed the whole game! Terrorized grown-ass defenders for 25 minutes..broke about 4 ankles, assisted one goal & scored a diving header & the game finished 2-2. It was simply amazing. A privelidge for me, to be there & watch him that night!
Yes he is a showman, but he also had the rare trait of having the will to win!

This first video is mostly clips of his time at PSG, with some Gremio clips.
It's easy to find his goals, but these have alot of clips of him just destroying defenders.
Breaking not only ankles, but the very self-esteem of his opponents :D

WARNING: This one has the annoying & possible dangerous strobe effects! Mostly at the beginning, but it is used in alot of transitions throughout.

Aside from the strobe, & the 320p lol .. this is a VERY well made edit. The journey from Gremio to PSG, BRASIL Selecao! & Barca.
Also it has a proper BANGER soundtrack. If anyone knows the name of the very FIRST song, (the Gremio part) please tell me!
I don't know portuguese, & I have no clue what she is singing.. but it's beautiful

EDIT: I found my memory from the previous post :D

I was searching for this particular segment of content, and founded it! I remember that I saw it a lot at TV that year. The quality was bad, but the message was clear:
"Ohhh dear Frank, at least decide who should win mate!"

This compilation was from UEFA, the best 50 goals of UCL until before the final of 2005. I recorded it straight off Greek TV with my then PCI TV card  and I caught from goal 38 onwards. Greek commentary but you get the idea. :)

 I blame the manager .. he keeps playing the guy in the wrong position, should've just put him up front.
Clearly, Frank has an eye for goal .. a true Fox in the Box type player!

Quality video!
Some "proper bangerz" in there with the old leather balls .. or as the old gentleman at my club used to say, .."like rockets farrkin!"

and bro, THANK YOU so much for that song! After 15+ years, I can finally add it to my music folder! :D
