    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

Am happy with our youth, and do hope that they will be patient as they keep on growing and fighting for their chance. Hopefully, this will be a great team for years to come....

Well I was wrong.

Best bit was without a doubt scoring after stoppage time in the first - after Sunderland had probably wasted 20 minutes of that half. Every throw in, Borini down with 3 'injuries' requiring extensive treatments...worst I've seen since Pulis Stoke.

Martial really does look a player. Some of his touches and movement are so encouraging.

Memphis will frustrate in abundance, he was actually terrible yesterday, however one area of his development which is pretty 'advanced' is his movement which got us the first goal and will help him into positions to score those easier goals.

He s in many ways terribly frustrating to watch. However, he is constantly moving and causing defenses to be on their back heels,and constantly making himself available in the final third. Once his decision making improves, things will get interesting. It is also why I really hope Pereira will get some more first time action soon. Memphis, Martial and Pereira moving around will be quite a handful
Granted, it's hard to deny the efficiency of Mata so slotting in Pereira atm is difficult.

This. Mata is great in that position. Tactically its plain to see and he is enjoying a good run in the team. We dont have a natural number 10 at the moment, so I would play herrera there. He has a lot of qualities Rooney is missing for that position.
 
To me (and i was a GK) Schmeichel is the best ever GK.
I know i have a slightly leftfield opinion, because my other alltime favourite is Neville Southall and not one of the classic alltime greats.
 
Well it was good timing with that Mata comment, he's in great form at the minute.

I'd consider Fellaini over Rooney at the moment.

going forward in Europe though I'd drop Rooney and bring in Carrick or Herrera depending on if its home or away, we were too open last night.


I want Rooney dropped, is it too obvous?
 
Rooney was horrible. At one point he was 2 vs 1 on the left side of Wolfsburg's half with so much space in front of him, he could've dribbled forward a bit and hit a through pass into space for the player running on the left (can't remember who it was) and would've been a dangerous one for Wolfsburg to handle. Instead he just stood, turned to his right and played it diagonally backwards towards the center circle. He totally killed that chance. He had to be direct there instead of what he did. What a waste. I was really disappointed. He should've been subbed instead of Memphis.
 
It's the beginning of the end for Rooney imo. The British press are starting to talk about how he's an issue - that's the media that have raised him up onto the highest pedestal in the land for the last decade.

Really sad, but it is like a single digit number of players that have his numbers over such a long career. Just happens that his started (and may end at the highest level) on the early side.

He's basically scored 15 or more goals for 11 seasons. That's incredible. And ignores all the time he was more of a playmaker.

Off the top of my head, outside of the superfreaks (Ronnie/Messi), does anyone else have a record like that? Lampard? Totti? Raul?
 
But the injury curse was never theirs to give! It's always been Arsenal. Things are a bit lighter there now that Diaby left but there's still Jack Wilshere's perennial injury condition.

You lot always scare me a bit even though based on past results we should be pretty confident. Hopefully an off day for Sanchez and no heroics from I wanna be a striker real bad Walcott.
