Yeah I am glad it wasn't me that thought although the CPU AI is less frustrating to play against in Title Update 14, it's still dumb and predictable. I was excited that they will patch it but clearly they just made it so that the pass_delay is increased(which just means they will do less quick passes), that's it.Thanks. In FC26, I have had to use the "hack" to force AI fouling in the game which is why its so rash. It's been a known "hack" for years but we gameplay modders mostly try to stay away from it because of this reason. My later versions 4.0.4 and 4.0.5 are trying to find ways to not use it but at this moment in time, nothing is working as good as this.
It is getting quite difficult to try and balance this whilst keeping some kind of difference between players and keeping passing accuracy figures more "realistic". If I reduce the lower attribute any further, users wont be able to use League 2 (lower ability) players at all.
The problem is because the AI is dumb as f*ck in FC 26 and every single time EA say theyve "fixed it", it doesnt really change. This is a major problem with the series and I do believe they could fix it if given some time or effort but this is not where EA are putting their resources right now.
With each iteration, I am trying to find ways to make the AI not use any of its stupidity choices but its a lot harder these days than it was back in say FIFA 20/21.
Paul, your latest gameplay is simply exceptional, I'm talking about V4 beta 1.
I encourage everyone who follows gameplay progress to try it. For those who have trouble controlling the ball, use the LT button before receiving the pass, you can also choose not to use it, as it can create different situations depending on the space around you... I'm taking the liberty of posting your latest video here.
