In FC26, I have had to use the "hack" to force AI fouling in the game which is why its so rash. It's been a known "hack" for years but we gameplay modders mostly try to stay away from it because of this reason. My later versions 4.0.4 and 4.0.5 are trying to find ways to not use it but at this moment in time, nothing is working as good as this.


It is getting quite difficult to try and balance this whilst keeping some kind of difference between players and keeping passing accuracy figures more "realistic". If I reduce the lower attribute any further, users wont be able to use League 2 (lower ability) players at all.

The problem is because the AI is dumb as f*ck in FC 26 and every single time EA say theyve "fixed it", it doesnt really change. This is a major problem with the series and I do believe they could fix it if given some time or effort but this is not where EA are putting their resources right now.

With each iteration, I am trying to find ways to make the AI not use any of its stupidity choices but its a lot harder these days than it was back in say FIFA 20/21.

Yeah I am glad it wasn't me that thought although the CPU AI is less frustrating to play against in Title Update 14, it's still dumb and predictable. I was excited that they will patch it but clearly they just made it so that the pass_delay is increased(which just means they will do less quick passes), that's it.

I encourage everyone who follows gameplay progress to try it. For those who have trouble controlling the ball, use the LT button before receiving the pass, you can also choose not to use it, as it can create different situations depending on the space around you... Hello, what a masterpiece! Fantastic! The rhythm is exceptional, perfect. The tempo is incredible. If you could slightly reduce the ball's freedom of movement during control, the gameplay would be extraordinary. I love this simulation aspect. Exceptional work. Really, if you could reduce it slightly and offer two options, it would be amazing. Bravo and above all, a huge thank you.
 
Paul- I'm loving v4.0.8! Seems like there are fewer rash AI slide tackles and a bit more attribute contrasts. I do agree with alex1117 that the ball freedom of movement, particularly bad 1st touches seem a bit much in v4.0.8.

Separately, I'm wondering why your mod only works in "Competitive" Gameplay (sorry if I missed that explanation in this thread). I do prefer to use the Custom GameType Settings- as they allow users to self-adjust for behaviors like the 1st Touch Errors above. Is there any possibility to be able to use "Custom" Gameplay for your mod in the future?

Hail the King. Quality mod in many aspects . Maybe i would like less goals combiined . No other complain at all . Excellent and in depth !!!
 
Thanks for the mod! The slower pace feels great and really changes the gameplay for the better.

I noticed one small thing: the first touches seem a bit extreme. Even with ~70-skill players, the ball bounces away almost every time. Is this intended to be that sensitive? It feels a touch unrealistic at the moment.
 
Hello everyone,

I think we all agree that if the developer manages to reduce errors in ball handling, the gameplay could be truly extraordinary. I agree about the realism, but this is a bit much. If the developer makes this small adjustment while offering two versions, I think we'll be close to a true simulation, perhaps even perfection.
 
Hi, I'm using the 10-hour trial version, but I can't launch the game with the mod. I downloaded the latest FMM 2.04 and the latest mod 4.08. When I launch the game through FMM, the game doesn't start, even though the FC26 process is listed. The game runs fine without the mod. Am I doing something wrong?
