PES 2014 Appreciation Thread

Has anyone figured out how to get Jenkey's File Loader 1.0.2.9 to work on Windows 11? I'm using Fire Patch 6.1, and PES 2014 1.7 exe.

It gets past the press start screen and crashes to desktop on establishing communications screen.

Been trying to figure that out as well. Sadly couldn't make it work. Same patch, same version, but I'm on Windows 10.

Are you planning a new PES 2014 video? 👀

Yeah I'd like to, but I'm relying on FileLoader as you can increase the resolution and LOD plus I can use it to remove things like the ball cursor which I like to do
 
Hi guys, I need your help, I've just clean installed this Pes and as soon as it was on my pc I looked through this forum for a patch that matched my request.

I followed all the instruction on the site and all went well without any problem, the game started fine and my only concern was changing the language in-game cause it was in ukrainian, but that wasn't as much as a deal, anyway, all hyped up I tried to start a game in exhibition mode and it crashed, I tried many thing but it's always the same, the game freezes as soon as the match start and it crashes...
does anyone know how to help me? thanks in advance

very different from all other modern pes games, midfield being hard to play through brilliant collision system and freekicks.

I can’t get the catchup tool to work for some reason, when I try to patch the exe it doesn’t create a new one, I’m on the latest version of the game though so that might be why

Weird, should Work, and it created a sparare/new exe.
Id prefer to play it without it though, it gets too easy for my liking.
This game can be played at a low difficulty with the catch up effect, usually play it on professional or TP, but with the catch up tool i play it on SS and still win every game really easy

Does anyone know how to make Jenkey's File Loader work with the 3DM crack?

I would like to play on the 1.16 version but sadly the only crack for that version that is compatible with File Loader Is Jenkey's own crack, which doesn't work for me on Windows 11.

Also if anyone happens to have nesa24's catch up tool and could share it here it'd be great, the links to it in this thread are down.
 
I get 0xc0000142 error in both pesgalaxy and firepatch. Anyone have working link for PES 14?

Which exe, crack are you using? If you're using 1.16 exe with jenkey's crack (you will see jkgamer.dll in the game folder) use 3dm crack, you can find it in page 15 of this thread
 
Does anyone know how to install the PESGalaxy 3.0 patch? The pesnewupdate page has no installation instructions, and simply installing it as per the readme doesn't patch the game.

For PESEdit 4.4, you need to extract each DP in order and then stop at 6.0 - because it doesn't support 7.0 (and doesn't come with an EXE that can even access the content in there, i.e. the Road to World Cup style mode).

The others support 7.0. (Also, you shouldn't need to bother with the updated EXEs as each patch should come with its own. But, always read the instructions!)

Have you tried all the patches? I would love to know which you consider the most complete because I really don't want to download them all to find out the best one. Also I don't see up to patch 7.0 anywhere in these links, maybe I missed it.

Not Chris, but I've tried the PESEdit and Fire Patches. I think Fire Patch is the better one amongst the two, it has the world challenge mode and it has many more stadiums too.

I think PESGalaxy is better than both, the stadiums supposedly have real adboards (some stadiums in Fire Patch have the white and red Konami adboards) and the patch has many scoreboards too. But I haven't been able to get it working so far.

I have found a Smoke Patch but I haven't seen anyone mention it in the thread, at least not yet, so I'm wondering if it isn't that great but Smoke patches have always been good in the past.
I'm just looking for one with the most addon's and most complete.

For 2014 the catchup removal makes the game much better. There used to be a good gameplay mod for it as well that fixed the unresponsive dribbling. Tbh I can't really compare the vanilla games too much since I've played them with mods most of the time.

Incidentally, really like the Pirlo-like AI play.

If pes2014 has a global stat editor, I need it. I used it for both pes09/13.

You can get the DLCs by using the Fire Patch DLC installer you find in the Fire Patch 6.0 pesnewupdate page. It installs the DLCs in C:\ProgramData\KONAMI\PES 2014 so you need to manually copy them to the game folder.

That one is an unofficial patch, every patch that isn't in the main website is unofficial. If you check the credits you will see that dido (main smokepatch guy) is not credited. I'm not sure how good that patch is though, haven't tried it.

The PESGalaxy one has the most addons (new camera, many scoreboards, adboards, Klashman69 tactics) but as I said before I couldn't get it working. Some other people in this thread did though. If you ever get it working please let me know, I love PES 2014 but I hate how "barebones" Fire Patch and PESEdit are.

Here you go. I'm not sure if it's compatible with the latest exe/DLC though since the file is from December 2013 and 1.06, 1.07, 1.12, 1.13 and 1.16 exes all came out after it.
