• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

i don't like it too, but i can understand it's really good if you want and can take advantage from it, since it's balanced and not an exploit

I think it´s a conspiracy to make PES a shit for you, mate! People here wants to end with pass support levels and off-the-ball movement just because they don´t use it! I´m just starting to think it´s something personal with you... :THINK:

I agree 100% - what I don't agree with is people going on about some sort of script that somehow decides they're pre-ordained to lose that particular game! That's what I think is nonsensical. Of course sports games, and all games in general, require some sort of scripting otherwise they couldn't function at all - but that scripting does not affect the outcome of the game.

I really hoped I'd got away from this crap, but nope - it happens here just as much as in EA land.

I agree - the idea of controlling more than one player at a time never seemed to click for me. On one hand, someone might say it's 'innovative' but on the other hand, it could be an easy way out for the AI: player runs are controlled by the human so there's no need to program clever AI running.

Personally feel off the ball control makes PES2013 a more enjoyable experience than fifa and all its predecessors.

To be honest I'm quite shocked reading through the last few pages that there are people that do not use it. Why expect the AI to do something when you can so easily so it yourself and gain a good advantage.

I don't think so. PES was a much better football game before all these options. You can have freedom in a football game without having different levels of assists for passing and shooting. I think Konami should just focus on perfecting one type of passing and one type of shooting. Quality over unfocused quantity. Just my opinion of course:))

Not for me mate. While they look shite on and HDTV the football is fun, addictive and timeless.
 
I have expectations as all users in this community (pes2014):))
like many here, I've also tried once more PES2013.
Ball possession is great, without ball is something totally different game, I'm sorry but this is rubbish, totally impossible to control our players, all rebounds, shocks and everything else, ALWAYS favors the opposition.
consequences: stupid goals, totally undeserved

ease is incredible that our opponents have when we stole ball, they recovered amazingly and steal ball ... fu .. k
Otherwise try, our player never fight again the ball.
* completely erase absolutely everything the game forever : RANT:


I just hope that with the change of graphics engine, is another story

thats like saying you dont want any control at all because it would ruin 'player individuality' -- you do realise you override player individuality every time you take control of any player?

shall we take out the button for goalkeeper rush too? what about L1 for 1-2 passing? what about button to initiate offside trap ? :CONFUSE:
 
Does anyone care that Kei mentioned continuous play so when a ball goes out for a throwin the player picks up and the play continues. No more stop and restart. I think this is phenomenal!

There's no way any AI would beat human vision and intelligence, PES2013 AI did have AI with "finding space/diagonal run" movement, and they still give an even better possibility with "off the ball movement".

I think it's clever for Konami to do this. No matter how good the AI was, people will moan later for it to be predictable and easy (because it's AI), but Konami eliminate this possibility with "off the ball movement" feature.

I do too. Great feature that. Also, hopefully Konami has gotten rid of the mandatory replays after nearly every single incident on the field and we no longer have to press start every time to skip them.
 
Will be nice to see a quick throw-in catch an opponent off guard and create a goal or scoring opportunity. With the quick free kicks, I've noticed that it depends on whether the ball falls to one of your players and he can take advantage of it. If the ball goes flying off somewhere else it doesn't give you the option. Hopefully it works more consistently.

I get confused the way it works on FIFA (having played the demo recently) - sometimes the player kicks the ball back to the spot where the kick must be taken but I think the first kick is the quick free kick being taken lol.

That's great news. The cutscene would always reset your players' positions; this addition will add a new dimension to the game.
 
Aw man...so I can't foul people to reset my defense? haha, i'll miss that, but having the game more fluid will be a great plus (if implemented correctly)

Then it'd be nice to ball boys introduced in the game, this way (specially for the home team) when you're down a lead and some cunt boots the ball way up there, a ball boy would give you another one to try to keep the play flowing.

LOL - unless you're playing away and then he will lie on the ball and you can kick him in the guts.
 
We have already seen the quick throw-in in at least one video. In the brazilian video there's a throw-in in the top of the screen when it's super bright and you can hardly see anything. One minute in:

Have we seen any quick freekicks yet? There is a freekick in the video above, but it resets everything directly. Would be nice with more quick freekicks too I think. Happens so rarely in current PES.
