• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

I am pretty excited actually. The sunlit picture with Torres is awesomely lit, makes me smell freshly cut grass just looking at it.

Doesn't really say anything but give a hint at what the graphics might look like, but good enough for me for now. :)

Don't mind the graphics as they are really or even 2009's as long as 2010 plays and flows like real football. They can go and look like Michael Angelo's finest works but move like a crippled chicken?

I was expecting a lot better but i should have known better . i just hope it play like a real football game but i don't see the point in mo-cap as it seems like they never use it

Yeah i really dont care about the graphics, im worried about the gameplay. And the teaser show the same running animations, the same feint... Cmon Konami, in one year all you did was improve the lightning?

I am really sorry to see how this once great football game ended, game over.
Dont lie to yourself, this is the end, Fifa simply destroyed em, but they got it coming for all those years not listening to their fans, shame. Maybe someday they ll be back, I ll play Fifa and see what will Konami produce in future, funny how situation turned around.

Pretty pointless trailer - nothing to get us looking forward to the game.
The lighting looks good from the screenshots but it still looks like they have the ridiculously long shorts.

I don't care what it looks like when it's still though, what it looks like when it's moving from the camera you play the game at (normal long/tele) is much more important, but even then that's insignificant compared to the gameplay.

I can see this happening all over again when the time comes:

When we get gameplay videos we'll get people saying the same old things like "it's an early build", "you can't tell what the gameplay is like from a video", "the people playing it are crap" etc.
Then when we get a demo people will say "it's an unfinished product, full version will be better".
Then when the game comes out and it's crap (hopefully not, but it seems likely to be the case) people will say "wait for the patch" and then it won't come and we'll have a shit game for another year. It's happened the last two years and nothing Konami have done yet has filled me with optimism.

They're obviously still using the same game engine, meaning the promised "overhaul" Seabass told us was coming after PES 08 has still never materialised.

Konami still think that we are morons. Fifa 09 looks better than last Konami screenshoots.Still robotic animations ? they are afraid to show us ,, many great animations,, ?

After having let it sunk in for a while, meh. I'm neither here or there, I'm not exactly disappointed but the dated animations weren't exactly a welcome surprise.

Because of the lack of actual gameplay footage we have to judge it graphics wise, and that doesn't exactly play to it's strengths. I'm going to have to wait to see how it plays before I make a proper judgement, lord knows when that'll be.

Does anyone know if this is all they went to E3 with?

A soccer game with less than a minute of footage and 5 screenshots in total isn't exactly going to set the world alight with the razzamatazz of EA nearby.

To whoever said the picture is of pre-rendered footage is wrong, I think the picture will give us a good idea of how the lighting will look in the final game, and indeed that is how most of the characters will look, so I think we'll still get dogheads this year for those players KONAMI doesn't care about. Now that the graphics front has been shown, we still need to see some gameplay and animations to see if KONAMI really worked on this one.
