Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.
In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.
We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

Superliga identity revealed... website to follow...
Philippe Le Floc'h, UEFA's marketing and media rights director said that the new Superliga brand "pushes boundaries whilst staying true to the traditional values of Europe's premier football family."
Monsieur Le Floc'h, also announced a new website that will "effectively be a community based portal for each of the competing clubs" that will "extend the relationship between the fans and media across all four geographical divisions."

A Summer Of Change
Aurelio De Laurentiis shockingly waved goodbye to the Club
With the 2007/08 Serie A season almost upon us, expectations are extremely high amongst supporters, as 'I Ciucciarelli' return to the top tier of Italian football for the first time since their relegation, back in 2001. There have been several in's and out's during the off-season, both on and off the pitch. Several players were brought in to bolster their squad in preperation for the journey to consolidate their place in Serie A. But it was off the field where the more impactful changes were made.
In a move than caught everybody by suprise, wealthy movie director Aurelio De Laurentiis announced that he had sold his majority stake in the Club to a local consortium and that he had stepped down as President of the 'Azzurri'. De Laurentiis was the man who bought the Club back in August 2004, after 'I Ciucciarelli' were declared bankrupt. He reformed the Club as Napoli Soccer before eventually reverting to their current name Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli. In De Laurentiis' reign as President, Napoli have rapidly climbed the ranks of Lega Calcio and are now back in the big time, where they belong.
An emotional De Laurentiis had this to say at his final news conference.
"This is a Club which I hold close to my heart. This is in fact the best Club in the World. This was one of the most difficult decisions in my whole life, but I was made an offer I simply couldn't refuse. You may not know it now, but I can assure you I have done what is right for Napoli. I am very proud of what I helped to build here and I know that Napoli will once again become a major force in Italian football, I can feel it."
The one and only Diego Maradona returned to the Club as it's new President
As if that wasn't suprising enough, what was to follow that would stun the whole of Italian football, as none other than the legendary Diego Armando Maradona announced that he was the new President of Napoli and that with the help of his financial backers, he would try to help bring Napoli back to the glory days of the 80's, an era that Maradona himself was an integral part of.
Maradona didn't wait long to leave his mark on the Club, as just days after his appointment, Head Coach Edoardo Reja resigned from his post, citing that a 'breakdown in communications with Maradona left him no choice but to leave'. This infuriated the Argentine, as a day later, Maradona publicly questioned Reja's reason's for leaving and claimed that the coach didn't have the 'Balls' for the job.
It wasn't long before a replacement was brought in, as a couple of days later, Maradona unveiled the experienced and succesful PES King as the new Head Coach of Napoli. Maradona also couldn't resist having a further dig at the departed Reja, claiming that PES King was a man with 'Balls of steel' and the man capable of acheiving his visions for the Club.
Is Mr. King the man to lead Napoli to greatness? Only time will tell. PES King has never failed to win a trophy at every Club he has ever been at, an omen for supporters of the Club perhaps? Who knows.
King will take his place in the dugout for his first game in charge against Genoa at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, where he will no doubt be looking to get off to a winning start.

Hi gerd, thanks. Indeed Renteria isn't. Strange, as he is doing well in real life. However, this is the beauty of PES. A s you well know, some players work for you and some don't. As a new manager of a club, you always feel you want to build your own team too. So eventually perhaps a striker of my choice will come in.
In real life, both Renteria and Alvaro Santos would most likely return to their clubs after the season loan. I'm wondering if i should mimic that.

Yup, that's the reason why i still prefer PES to FIFA (although FIFA is good this year, but the difference between players and teams is hardly noticeable - if there is a difference).

All eyes were on this match between the two newly promoted sides, as Napoli's new Coach PES King took to the dugout for the first time since he took over in the Summer from Edoardo Reja, no doubt looking for a opening day win to get the ball rolling. King's side lined up with a 3-5-2 formation and the Englishman has already stamped his mark on the team by naming Paolo Cannavaro as his captain, a move that had been rumoured in the press all week.
Napoli's new Coach will be impressed by the way Napoli dominated for much of the game, bar the odd mistake, with the Azzurri looking alot more comfortable than the scoreline suggested. If Napoli can play like this every week, then a certain Argentine President will be kept off PES King's back and believe me, no one needs that weight on their back.
It was Genoa who raced out of the blocks quickest however, with I rossoblu nearly taking a 3rd minute lead. A poor defensive mistake from Contini allowed Figueroa a clear shot on goal, but the Argetinian's resulting strike was tame and was easily caught by Lezzo.
This seemed to give the visitors the kick up the backside that was needed, as they stamped their authority on the game. An impressive run by Lavezzi saw the youngster line up a shot on goal, but before he could pull the trigger, Lavezzi was clumsily brought down by Paro, who was booked for that challenge. Contini stepped up for the freekick, then struck the ball against the wall, who held strong to put the ball out for a corner. Genoa breathed a sigh of relief as the corner was poorly wasted.
Ezequiel Lavezzi always looked dangerous in the first 45 and will be dissapointed that he didn't get himself on the score sheet. After a great bit of play from his team mates allowed Lavezzi to bear down on goal. Lavezzi was denied a chance to open the scoring by the Genoa keeper, his strike was put out for a corner kick, which was once again wasted by the away side.
Zalayeta celebrates his opening strike, 33 minutes in
Lavezzi's strike partner Marcelo Zalayeta was the man who did eventually open the days procedings in the 33rd minute of the game. The Uruagy International twisted and turned the Genoa backline and forced his way into the box. The former Juventus striker then let fly with a fierce left footed efort, which flew past the Genoa keeper and into the back of the net.
Despite going 0-1 up, Napoli refused to let up on the pressure and looked to put the game beyond doubt. Gargano came close to making it 2, but he saw his long range piledriver tipped over for a corner. Milanetto nearly pulled one back against the run of play for Genoa on the stroke of half time. His dangerous free kick was only just saved by the Napoli keeper. The visitors held on to go into the break 0-1 to the good.
Not long into the second period, Napoli extended their lead through Walter Gargano. A corner kick was whipped in by Hamsik but was initially cleared by the defence. Dalla Bona played the ball back into the danger zone and Lavezzi played a dangerous looking ball across the box, which was beautifully headered in by Gargano. A wonderful header that gave the keeper no chance.
Credit to the home side, they didn't let their heads drop and soon pulled a goal back to give themselves a fighting chance. Genoa capitalized on a defensive error from Napoli. I had a very unpleasant surprise the othe rnight in ML. A goal was given against me, which wasn't a goal. The ball hit the outside of the post and then the side netting. Goal given. I was :shock: :-s :l
I watched the replay back and the ball went into the post at one point. It was certainly not physically possible. A bug i'd say.

It seems there are quite a few bugs...
Something i noticed: one of my players somehow ended up in the goal, just continued to walk through the nets...rather funny...
I still enjoy ML a lot but this game never should have hit the shops the way it is now...
It may seem that i'm cruising, but in fact i have big trouble to make the game...Getafe are much better away than at home....once they have taken the lead the home team pressurers to equalise and then Getafe are a fantastic cpounter attacking team...At home they can't really impose their game...
It looks good for promotion (well, it's early days after 12 weeks) it will be less easier than you people may think...i need a good striker...Uche is fantastic, but he has lots of arrows down and then he doesn't get in the starting eleven...Kepa is not my type of player...if Uche doesn't play i play with two supporting strikers upfront which isn't ideal...
