• Hotmail/Outlook (any Microsoft email services) folks. Microsoft is currently blocking our emails. We have raised a support ticket with them and will update when we can.

    In the meantime it's possible that adding robot@evoweb.uk to your address book/contacts will help and if you're able to switch to a different email provider, that would work fine.

    We have also increased the number of bounce emails we can handle before accounts are marked as requiring verification again to hopefully mitigate the issue a bit as well.

A 2009 American drama film based on the true story of the faithful Akita Hachikō.
 
Prince of Persia (BD) - 8/10

Really enjoyed it. Great story with lots of action and great special effects. You can see how Pirates of the Carribean influenced it as well. Stunning in HD.

I saw that movie too and thought it was one of te worse movies I have seen this year. Predictable boring storyline mixes with very bad dialogue and terrible scene editing as a lot of the scenes where either pointless or rushed.

The icing on the Cake for me is that Persians are Americans who try to speak In a british accent
 
I thought the scenery and effects were really good, but thought the story and dialogue were boring. I think Jake Gyllengeralgall wasn't the best actor for the role too. I'd give it a 5/10.

I watched A Single Man recently and would give that a 9 or 10/10. Beautiful cinematography and dialogue. I think Colin Firth could win an Oscar for his performance.
 
She's Out Of My League - 6/10

Maybe a 5. Some funny moments, first half anyway, but the second half just becomes too predictable and a bit ... rubbish.
 
Paranormal Activity 2: 7/10
Better then the 1st one, some really scary bits but a bit too ehm, "sequelish"...
 
Stone: 6/10

Some good characters in the film, but then they do nothing with them, you're left only with the potential thriller they could have done (but haven't).
 
Machete - 7.5/10

VERY funny. Loved it. De Niro and Seagal were great!

The Social Network - 8/10

Really enjoyed this. Excellent story and dialogue. Great acting as well. Really surprised by JT's excellent performance.

Predators - 4/10 (BD)

Wasn't that great. Tried too hard to be as good as the first and frankly seemed too short and predictable. Disappointed.
 
Inception - 9/10

Superb. Very clever and thought provoking film.

I don't know why I waited so long to watch this, but glad I did as I could watch it at home when it was quiet and I could concentrate fully on it. Getting this on BD when it's out.

i have not seen Social network yet but JT imo has always been a great actor. go watch alpha dog. great performance by him in their. His even in black snake moan i think its called. the one with samual L jackon
 
Missus wanted to watch the twilight films as she has just read all the books. Not my cup of tea, but I said I'd watch with her.

Actually enjoyed them... I feel unclean.
 
Monsters 7.5/10

Nice story line, a bit like District 9 but more atmospheric and less action. The special effects could've been just a tad better, but overall, very enjoyable.
 
just watched inception...

i am still shaking...

amazing movie imo, i was doubtfull at beginning but it is way better than many movies that were overhyped..

this is certainly one of best movies i saw..
 
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World - 9/10

Started off a bit ... bizarre and couldn't get my head around it. But got into it not long after and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very stylish and well made, made me laugh quite a lot, and the actress playing Ramona is quite nice ;)

Maybe went on a BIT too long tho, the battles kinda became a bit tedious towards the end.

Kung Fu Panda - 7.5/10

Not bad, a few moments that made me laugh. Worth watching but wouldn't say it's up there as one of my favourite animated movies.
 
Scott Pilgrim 7/10

I just couldn't get into this movie, its pretty good but the development couldn't hold my attention.

Death Proof 7/10

Same thing, pretty good but some of the Tarantino stuff bores the hell out of me.

Overrall creative and funny movies though.
 
Frozen - 5 or 6/10

Hmmm, quite unrealistic at times, good tension at times, boring at times, scary at times where you wonder what you'd have done. Not rubbish, not good though.
 
Whiteout: 6.5

Pretty decent thriller set in the antarctica. Still light years behind "The thing", but it can fill a lazy sunday afternoon.

Legion: 5
Starts with some potential but the development is just silly and cheap.

How to trani your dragon (Blue-ray): 8
Great animated film with one of the best dragon designs around. Nicely done, even though the last 20 minutes are by far the worse part of the film and are quite predictable. But hey, it's a kids story, I wasn't expecting anything different.

Knight and Day - 7,5/10
Amusing, light comedy MI movie.

Sex and the City 2 - 1/10
Always enjoyed the series as they were pretty on the edge for the time, the 1st movie was ok aswell as it finished the open story of the series. However this was total cack.

Toy Story - 8/10
Usual good stuff from Pixar.
 
Iron Man 2 BD - 8/10

My opinion hasn't changed, I still enjoy it for what it is plus its excellent demo material, I hope though that the 3rd movie is a bit more serious.
