PES2008 has been more fun for multiplayer due to the increased speed - it’s the perfect PES6, but WE2008 is better for single player.

But, with WE2008 you just got to get used to O for accept and X as back. My only other console is a switch so it works fine but for those used to X as accept, it’s a faff.

Also a question for @PES4eva and @Juventino32 who I know have played both, is the English commentary less frequent on WE2008 than PES2008? For me it seems so, but it could be placebo due to the slower pace.

Haha yeah playing multiple versions of WE/PES is a complete nightmare on muscle memory when in the menus and especially on goal replays 😂

I've not played in a while but don't really recall much of a difference in how much commentary there is. Unless PES2008 has more call names implemented than WE2008, that might be a factor. Difficult to tell unless someone goes through the game files to check. Which i personally don't think it's worth it for a curiosity but you may disagree. Let me know if you do find out though ✌️

Just a question if anybody knows about J.league winning eleven 2008 club championship? So I am playing first season in D2 master league, things are not looking good...it is holiday season so I went on a little shopping spree haha, and now I am afraid that it might be game over at the end of the season.
I am wondering if there are those friendly matches after the season (before salary payments), so that I could earn some necessary PES points?
I have put transfer frequency to high, and put some unnecessary players on transfer list, that would solve the problem, but I fear that no offers will come.
P.S. Try not to drink too much tonight, your defaults need a steady hand tomorrow XD

If you have a transfer window you can release players for free which will cut the wage budget (wait until the end of the window to release them in case you can sell them first) Plus, you'll earn points by playing matches.

Edit: Remember to take the players you want out off the transfer list near the end of the window otherwise it won't let you release them.

It seems that if only someone would buy Minanda I would be good as he seems to be most valuable player, otherwise I would need a lot of wins until the end, currently 4-1-3, win-draw-loss...22 matches in league, currently around 4k pes points, for salaries I will need around 12k.
With all unwanted players released at the final day that will earn me around 1.5-2k. It will be interesting until the end.

People here seem to show no interest in the tournament or interaction like they did before online play.

But I plan to recreate a PES Retro circuit with regular tournaments at the national (France) level, then European, and maybe even worldwide.

That's why I have a large collection of PES/WE games and many consoles.
I'm 37 years old and this virtual world is boring!

I prefer interacting with and meeting people.

Thread 'Best Football game of all time'

There has been a post recently asking which is the best PES or FIFA game but since it won’t let anyone vote for the classic PES games I thought it was a misrepresentation of what is actually the best. So I’ve made this poll to find out.
If there’s a game I’ve not added that deserves a mention and you think would genuinely affect the the poll please feel free to do so but there is limited poll spaces. If a game isn’t getting votes, over time I’ll remove it and replace with suggestions.

You can..Sort of, in the same way as these are.

This is a kit with the shirt continuing in the shorts part, looking like it's untucked. Cleverly made I have to say.

It's a texture edit. This is the we6fe texture

You can see the shirt is overlapping the shorts that's how it works. Same thing is definitely doable in WE7/8.

I did a quick test with a striped shirt, it is a bit tricky to align but it will work.

Since we have PES6 kits for 25/26 season, we can convert and slightly edit to make them untucked for a 26 patch.

Yeah I can see the alignment isn't correct on the striped shirt. Nice work though, I'm a big fan of WE6FE. It's in my top 3 of WE/PES titles.
 
I wish we could see this version of the game on PC. I'm very curious about how this version of the game could be improved with mods.

Also I wish there was at least a mod that could import Xbox graphics to PC.

PES 2008 basically evolves off of this game graphically and mechanically, so PES 2008 on PC is the closest you'll get to this game. Failing that, emulating PES 6 on an xbox 360 emulator, Xenia.

PES 2008 is a poor evolution of PES 6. The Xbox version of PES 6, despite its flaws, is much better than PES 2008 in my opinion. Playing with an emulator seems to be the only way. It would be great to experience the Xbox version with the PC mods...

Sega Astro City. They made a mini of that a while back. Surprising mini to make given the arcade machines utter obscurity. Never played Premier Soccer by Konami.
They did a PES 6 arcade machine back in the day but can't remember what it's called.
