Hi guys, please does anybody know where I can download WE6FE Zlib Tool?

I am trying to fix the 5000 salary bug using @paokkerkir 's instructions but I cannot find that tool. I have searched this forum and Google but every link is dead.

Thanks :)

You should get some big restrictions due to your antivir or any other protection because it's super easy to found it and that tool is often on some Pc Editor packages.
But whatever, check on attached files mate ;)
It's called "WE6FE but that thing unzlib every "unnamed.bin" or "unknown.bin" from any tool. Must have.

Ah yes i already asked it from time to time but i probably wasn't clear in my explanation :

-I want to relink kits on JLWE2008, Spanish one.
-I know that you can "licence" a team by assigning as "00 01" in exe on some teams. For the WE2008 patch i plan there's no problem with it as i got special kits designs representing a team, but it's very hard (to me) to create those kits design called also "kitslayers". Results, if you choose the good colors, are almost similar to real kits templates.

>What i need to know : there's a way to assign to an unlicenced team an already existing shirts and licence that team, like for example you assign Panatinaikos to Barcelona. Then you made Panathinaikos as an unlicenced team, and you exchange the template with real Barcelona kit, and you "unlicence" Panathinaikos, and create it or with the IG editor, or with Kitslayers.

I own all Kitslayers from England 07/08, Bundesliga 07/08 and enough "Others teams" from 07/08 season. But any LIGA kitslayers, and i'm struggling litterally to made some LIGA kitslayers : it sounds impossible to me. So the only/easier way is to link kits to almost all unlicensed Liga kits which are impossible to recreate.
If someone could help me, i'm ready to paid without problem as every work deserves money (but i prefers to talk it in private) and it's my favorite PES/WE PS2 version gameplay wise.
Or you can create kitslayers based on PES 2008 kits, or you relink kits from teams (not J-League ones please).

I will send you an example of modded kits design and if you never checked one / OR you can download for example the patch "Pimp my PES 6" or "PES 2008 THE PATCH" and go to change kits design and you will discovers design with brands, sponsors etc. :))

I don't want to annoy BillyKong for when he will release/IF someboy working with him managed to create a kitserver like they did for @geeeeee : it would be totally fantastic but i'm sceptic as people said that J.League versions are quite harder to mod 😓. The thing is to me, it's a part of what i'm planning for that game : not the whole patch. But i got a little thrust when i'm checking myself : i don't see why J.League version are so different from any others PES : it's the same but with 2 licenced league in more and no NT but AFC clubs (they're in my plan too, even if it's not on my 1st plan)

Thanks in advance and sorry for repeating but when you don't get an answer, even a "no" it's very frustrating (also because i will do the hardest of the job after that and it's also for the whole community here and on YT : i want people to discover what i consider as the best WE/PES never made on Ps2 : that a mission i suppose that @BillyKong want to accomplish too)
I won't ask again, respect to moderation and keeping this forum readable but thrust me it's for the good of everyone

Thank you both very much! :)
No problem mate, and if you need something else ask me i got tons of programs (especially for PES 2008 but also PC-PS3 versions such as for PES 2011-13 and PES 2021 > there's some (well, many) issues with programs and Windows 10-11 especially olders programs, Java Runtime etc. and i found many solutions to resolve it (so instead of waisting your time to make some stuff working, don't hesitate to ask)

Thanks NeoRetro that is much appreciated! I worry that one day i won’t be able to find a tool or one that works with my pc :)

Sorry I saw your message after I replied to your other one.

Being totally honest, although I have done a few files now, I don’t really know much at all about adjusting the ISO file to change kits, especially when it comes to the J:League version. I can only do what I do because of the wonderful help from @marqisspes6 and more recently @paokkerkir.

All I do is just ask them for a ‘beginner’s guide’ for whatever I want to do. When they tell me, I don’t really understand what I am doing I just know that it works.

For example Marq designed a tool to enable me to change teams so that I can add their kits in to the ISO. Every year when I come round to doing it, I forget what I have to do and have to take my time to remember again.

Sorry I cannot really help but those two I mentioned are the main ‘players’ when it comes to these things. ;)

No problem @geeeeee i already knows that you got a "map" and people helped you to do it!

Now i saw a "PES 2008 OG Season" using the same full kitservers as yours, but they added some face (faceservers) and replaced faces by.... Faces even less ressembling lol.
I also exactly got the same idea as i think Jackallan in the past, but it could've wait as everything was already prepared and i wanted to work on JLWE2008CC first.

But right now i'm doing OG season but for WE 2008, even if the differences are pretty small with PES 2008 just a bit slower and with a different feeling than vanilla version, which i replayed and is good, i get quickly used to the speed especially after having played to practically ALL others PES and there's no difference in speed/then you get used and it put you some pressure.
Even without speed decreased (i'm not talking at all about stats mods etc, just speed): it still way better than PES 6 zero doubt and the best European PES from that era never made.
And you know, the dynamism brings by the normal speed is really making the game harder, as the AI reaction gets faster too.

I've read a post, not only one but some post here i totally disagree regarding PES 6, PES 2021 etc... But i'm tired to debate, but that one and another seemed to be totally marginal. I didn't understood at all : it was about AI and that "J-League 2010 + the games AFTER that one got the best AI on PES, i was litterally chocked :CONFUSE:
-ALL version after 2008, with one or two exception don't feel PES-ish anymore : that the case of PES 2009 to 2014 : it sound like another game, a simplified version of PES, made for PSP, while the "big head" worked on PS3. It was so obvious, i played, tried, every single version and that was my conclusion : everything is simplified in terms of ball physics, but also dribbling, etc., perhaps some got a slower pace but there's FAR less outcomes in those versions with less risk took by the producer "one simple formula and we keep it until the end of PSP". There far less pressure when you got the ball in those version than in PES 5 or 2008 or even WE8LE, WE7I etc. : they just simplified everything and kept the "not too much goals" balance. I really feel restricted when i play those version, i don't feel the physics like before, with one exception which is JLWE2010.

Enough said, but i would like to get how that member (sorry for the name i don't remember) gets to that conclusion, and it's a statement without arguments or proof on vids about superior AI. I'm curious, everyone feels things differently but i'm not a fan about when you state something in total margin from nowhere without proof like if it's a fact.

Same as PES 6 vs PES 2021 : you can't compare those games as the representation is totally different (and sorry, but PES 6 was bugged and it's perhaps the people's games as everyone can play like a Soulcalibur, it's not reserved to a niche, but that game got very big flaws, and the philosophy of PES 2019 to 2021 is totally different, more sim oriented and it's not at input-lagged neither rigid like PES 2014. I often asking myself if i own the same game as some people describe it. No, it's not a chess-action-fighting type of game and i love the fact that you got to wait, like in reality, that a player have finished his animation to enchain another one... But it's more PES 2014 case, 2021 is reactive, but there's tons of algorithms added that create outcomes : not everything is based on stats.

"Having fun" could take different form. And i'm having as well fun on old PES, middle PS3 PES, and recent one. But for different reasons, sometimes i get bored of one type of game and i don't want to play it, and gof fun with another football representation. Fifa includes of course :)))

Hello bro do you know where I could get an actual option File with all the Premier League kits, et cetera because this option file doesn’t have the unlicensed kits or logos. The iso is excellent on ps2 hardware but the option file is just the names updated but no kits or logos. Kind Regards.

DOWNLOAD PPF file...

maybe someone want it to have
There's also the Albiore version in English recently created, if i remember some hidden euro club (very few) are unlocked on the option file "highly recommended" if you're interested. There is another Reefur patch but WE8 season 03-04.

But if you need the best JLWE8 patch with OG rosters, Albiore recently did one version in English :

About Dkz it's impossible to get anything but 0,92b or perhaps 0,91 in 2026 + olders Dkz versions doesn't got something you can't do in the latest one @Energia mentionned. So no need to search a so old version.

I posted a newer version of the OF, never posted it in this thread. (Includes OF for Korean & Chinese ver.)

Unfortunately, Reefur's JLWE8 patch is very hard to find. (We probably have to hope someone has it in their old hard drive & uploads it.)

Thanks mate now that you mention a newer version, i noticed some real faces missing and stuff like this. Don't remember if transfers are up to date from 2003 summer or like in liveware (february 2004, i don't think).

And yes i never found that version nether even when there were a sudamerican website with tons of old patches you couldn't found anywhere else. Or stuffs posted by bayron*** don't remember the full name. His channel got plenty of version from every side.

Also, i noticed that on PS2 when they tries to make a 2026 patch stats are way too high for PES standard with practically 90 in every stats from Balance to Dribling speed and more than 80 for the rest...
I tried some PS3 patch 2025-26, PES 2017 2018 and 2013 and it was regular as they used the official Efootball stats and converted them using authentic players (who don't have more than 90 so they made +9, or +10 but in %)

Btw, I've just started to create an OF for PES 5 on the same idea as my other OF's already released for other games :

- Locked / unlocked version
- No transfer or formation change
- No stats changes
- Real names for clubs, players, stadiums, leagues, ...
- Apply call names when available
- Apply preset faces when available
- More accurate kits incl. emblems, logos, ...

Names, callnames, preset are all done already for classic, hidden and club players.

I'm doing the NT now.

For kits, I'll check what you shared.

You can follow the progress here :

From WE 9 guide

# The Relationship Between Dribbling and Body Balance

Body balance affects various plays. Here, we examine the effect of body balance during dribbling. Using players with the conditions on the right, we investigated whether they could break through pressure from three situations and observed the impact on dribbling.

- Create players with body balance of 99 and 70.

- All other parameters are set to 70.

- Dribbling accuracy is set to 80 for both players.

- Do not use dash.

# Test 1: Breaking Through Frontal Pressure

We attempted to dribble past an opposing defender from the front, but neither player succeeded in breaking through. However, while the player with 70 body balance was often knocked down immediately after losing the ball, the player with 99 body balance was rarely knocked down even after losing possession. This test revealed that players with higher body balance can restart play more quickly, allowing them to swiftly follow up on loose balls resulting from collisions.

> ◆ Even with high body balance, the ball can still be lost, but there were instances where the opposing defender was knocked down.

View attachment 330315

# Test 2: Breaking Through Side Pressure

We attempted to break through side pressure with a straight dribble.
As a result, both players were highly likely to lose the ball when facing direct side pressure. However, against pressure from a diagonal rear angle, even the player with 70 body balance could withstand the pressure, and the player with 99 body balance could successfully dribble past.
The player with 99 body balance, in particular, could recover their stance even after being destabilized by the first press. However, if they were continuously pressed after losing balance, they were almost certain to lose the ball.

- **Direct Side**
When facing direct side pressure, it is advisable to give up on breaking through and opt to pass the ball instead.

View attachment 330316

# Test 3: Breaking Through Pressure from Two Players

Finally, we tested whether it was possible to break through pressure from two players. The result was that neither player succeeded in breaking through. However, it was found that the player with 99 body balance could often draw fouls by being knocked down. If this is effectively utilized in the penalty area, it could create opportunities for penalty kicks. Depending on the number of opposing defenders and your position, it might not be a bad idea to take on the challenge.

- It would be wise to actively aim to draw fouls and create chances for penalty kicks.

Gemini interpretation of the test:

Based on the Winning Eleven 9 Official Strategic Guide, the "Body Balance" tests (found in the column "Relationship between Dribbling and Body Balance") reveal that while high Body Balance doesn't make a player "invincible," it fundamentally changes how they react to physical contact and their ability to sustain attacking momentum.

The tests compared two players—one with 99 Body Balance and one with 70 Body Balance—under specific conditions (80 Dribble Accuracy, no sprinting). Here is the interpretation of the results:

1. Frontal Press: Recovery and Second Chances

When facing a defender head-on, both players often lost the ball. However, the difference lay in what happened after the contact:

  • 70 Body Balance: The player was frequently knocked to the ground simultaneously with losing the ball, taking them completely out of the play.
  • 99 Body Balance: Even when the ball was stolen, the player rarely fell. This allowed them to stay on their feet and immediately pursue the "loose ball" or follow up on the play, providing a significant advantage in maintaining a high-tempo attack.

2. Side Press: Resistance to Dispossession

The effectiveness of Body Balance in side-on challenges depends heavily on the angle of the defender:

  • Directly from the side: Both players were dispossessed at a high rate, suggesting that Body Balance cannot fully compensate for a poor dribbling angle against a direct challenge.
  • Diagonally from behind: This is where the 99 Body Balance player excelled. While the 70-stat player was easily pushed off the ball, the 99-stat player could withstand the pressure and continue the dribble.
  • Resilience: Even if the 99-stat player momentarily lost their balance, they were capable of recovering their posture to keep going, though they would eventually lose the ball if the press was sustained.

3. Two-Player Press: Strategic Foul Drawing

In a "sandwich" situation where two defenders press simultaneously, neither player could successfully break through. However, the test highlighted a strategic utility for high Body Balance:

  • Foul Induction: The player with 99 Body Balance was much more likely to be fouled rather than simply losing the ball.
  • Practical Application: The guide suggests that in the penalty area, a player with elite Body Balance can be used specifically to "invite" contact and earn penalty kicks (PKs), as they are harder to dispossess cleanly without a foul.

Expert Interpretation Summary

In Winning Eleven 9, Body Balance should not be viewed as a stat that helps you "power through" defenders like a tank. Instead, it is a resilience and recovery stat. It allows elite players to:

  1. Stay active in the play after a challenge instead of being sidelined by a fall.
  2. Protect the ball effectively when being chased or challenged from behind.
  3. Create set-piece opportunities by forcing defenders into committing fouls.

Did anyone know that in pes not winning eleven in pes from 2008 to 2011 , there's hidden japan reserve team , with full player IDs and real faces ? , I didn't understand why they hide them ? it was and still a mystery for me , you can unlock them on pc using a pes editor but in consoles it's impossible although they appear sometimes in master league in japan squad , and suddenly they appear naturally since pes 2012 ? a mystery ..

If someone recognises me here, you know that i love WE8LE and JLWE2008CC (im not sure if thats the correct title but i will risk it without reasearching it lol)
but after playing it for almost a year straight now i feel like i have to take a break from them.

My main footy game nowadays is FIFA 14 and i switch it with PES 3 from time to time, something about PES 3 is just right, it has that feel of a football match where defence and offense are balanced, i played some of my ML over two days and i have to say, Huylens is an underrated player in the PES community lol
I always choose Huylens over Castolo, here are two goals from him that he scored in last two days.

This goal is nothing spectacular, im sure everyone here has scored way nicer goals, but something about how it looks is just pleasing on the eye, Castolo would never!

And here is some cheekines from Huylens, sending the defender to the shops minutes after he got a yellow for a tackle on Huylens.

PES 3 might feel limited nowadays, but i just like to play it for 1-2 weeks and comeback to it next month, the aesthetics, the players, the balance between offense and defence, and a pretty alright AI makes it an enjoyable game (especially with the 2000 Premiership patch made by @SerieALegends !)

Completely spot on! That's how I've always felt about WE7/PES 3 as well. I think the rythm and the balance in the field between attacking/defending is like the best in all the saga or something. To me it's peak Ps2 era togheter with the other heavy hitters, it feels like a digital photograph of that beginning/middle 00s football, it encaptures its soul so incredibly well.

Personally I don't even find it particularly limited gameplay wise, or perhaps I've came to love some of the limitations (fro example, putting in a banger from afar is so satisfying!). Only thing I really felt a bit limited in is Master League, few teams and shorter competitions (although the transfer system was very good), would have loved to see this gameplay in the longer format we had from Pes4/5 onwards...

There is something about that gameplay that makes it a good football representation (just like the PES 3 intro focusing on small moments, thats my favourite intro) might be simple but not everything has to be complex. I agree with the long shots, they are rare in football and that how it should be :)
Defenders often go for a strong tackle, forwards try to do scissor kicks and midfielders go for a dribble often, it has that nice intensity.

"feels like a digital photograph of that beginning/middle 00s football, it encaptures its soul so incredibly well." thats exactly it!

If only the AI was more like the WE8LE it would have been even better, but still, it works well and can surprise you, especially the top players.

I was on a simillar boat with ML structure, but PES 3 still has that PES feel to it when it comes to how they build the atmosphere and the "football world" in those games, it fits that way for me, i started to like it. I honestly think the transfer system in PES 3 is one of the better ones in the PS2 era, AI teams could be stacked with stars and mid table teams could have one or two top players because of that transfer, it never is dull in comparison to WE8LE or PES 5 where i would meet Sevilla for example with exactly the same squad over the course of 5 seasons.

All this PES3 chatter got me reminiscing. Is there a PC patch for it that you would recommend? Something that works well with modern PCs, 4K etc?

Thanks!

You rigth, when did you talk about of chineses kits, the only patch had this kits, its JL WE8 AC from reefur's.

That's to hard to find this patch...

it's impossible to find it online... it doesn't exist anymore online... all links are down for severals years

You can only hope that someone reading this (it would have to be an almost unbelievably lucky astral coincidence LOL) who happens to have the game's patched ISO from way back in 2004 on an old hard drive — never deleted — or an old burned CD from back then, can re-upload it somewhere for you today.

We hope the Force can be with you always
